well that just shows how illogical wizards are. they've got the power but they're all weaklings and cowards . no wonder they have to hide from muggles who despite not having magic, have superior intellect.

Yeah, you were so wrapped up in "copying canon" for the first DADA class that you forgot that Fake Moody wasn't the DADA prof the previous year.

Overall, this is an utterly pedestrian re-telling of canon with practically no interesting changes. (There are changes, yes, but they're all without exception extremely boring to read.)

Reckon JKR made a mistake with Krum not able to say Hermione's name, he's from Bulgaria, which is linguistically close to Greek, for goodness sake! but it is good for some laughs.

It's generally reckoned that a galleon is worth about a fiver, so a tenner a week is, especially at that time, a very nice bit of pocket money.

the ones I'd argue against are Ron because he can speak out of turn especially when he has a jealousy fit; Ginny because she's an airhead; and Terry because he can be a Ravenclaw's Ravenclaw.
