Year 1 : Suppose Draco Malfoy introduced himself before he started acting like an ass. What if he had asked Harry's name before insulting Hagrid? A friendly handshake in Madam Malkin's leads to an alternate but realistic universe which is eerily like the canon, featuring a cast of first year Slytherins as you've never seen them: normal children. Join Harry Potter and his new friends as they discover their magical talents and help him to explore the world that has been kept from him these past ten years.

Year 2 : Harry Potter's holiday with the Muggles has been dreadful. He wants nothing more than to return to Hogwarts, but when he is rescued by a masked wizard in a black robe, it sets off a chain reaction of disasters. Things are no calmer at school as an ancient legend comes to life and a deadly monster stalks the halls. The new Defence professor boasts that he will end the threat, but can even the magical might of the famed Gilderoy Lockhart prevail against the Heir of Slytherin? Nobody knows who it could be, but the prime suspect is none other than Harry himself!

Year 3 : Harry Potter's summer holiday has been anything but fun. He's been treated like a common criminal by the Muggles. His circumstances don't begin to improve when he finally breaks out, for one of Voldemort's strongest supporters has likewise escaped, from Azkaban, the most secure place in Britain. The mad Sirius Black killed thirteen people with a single curse and now is believed to be after Harry. The Ministry of Magic takes drastic security measures, but what can stop the first man to elude the dreaded Dementors? Harry Potter is not safe, even within the walls of Hogwarts, for rumours are told that a traitor may well be in their midst.

Year 4 : Harry Potter's new life with his godfather, Sirius Black, is the stuff his best dreams were made of. As they turn 12 Grimmauld Place into a real home, Harry finally gets to hear all about his father and mother. At the Quidditch World Cup, Harry learns of the upcoming Triwizard Tournament from Mr. Lucius Malfoy. Back at Hogwarts, there's treachery afoot, as Harry is named as a fourth Champion. Can his reputation recover from what the other Houses are saying? Who will stand with him? Who will stand against him? Tasks of immense danger loom, and dark shadows are gathering again. How can Harry survive with life and limb in peril? Will Harry ever be the same again?

Year 5 : The war has begun. The evil forces of Lord Voldemort have overrun Azkaban prison, and the Ministry of Magic and the Order of the Phoenix struggle to prevent the wizarding world from collapsing. Harry spends the summer cooped up in Grimmauld Place, but he really just wants to do something. Fortunately, the new Defence teacher helps the students prepare to fight the darkness. Professor Umbridge shakes things up at Hogwarts, but is she maybe going too far? Strange new lessons, prophecies, and intrigue will all test Harry's mettle, but can anything prepare him for the weight of his inexorable destiny?

Year 6: Who will be next to perish? Should he support the Ministry? Does Dumbledore have a plan? These questions and more haunt Harry as he and his new Order train for war and vengeance in-between three weddings and a funeral. Hogwarts is stunned when Snape gets the Defence job. Will he too be struck down? Harry has been warned about the returning Potions Master, but how can he resist hearing tales about Slughorn's favorite student, Lily Evans?

Year 7: Consists of an outline and a bunch of notes at this point, but is technically in-progress.

Imagine If They Put Me In Slytherin : Harry Potter has always liked spiders and when he goes with the Weasley twins to see Lee's tarantula, Ron is left alone in the compartment. Ron has self-esteem issues and a lot of burning ambition. What happens if he's Sorted where he really belongs? Y1: neither het nor slash because they're 11 years old.

This is a story about Ron. If you've read my other fics or heard me discuss Harry Potter on Potter Fic Weekly or the Poufwa Exchange, you know that I have lots and lots of problems with Ron. He's my least favorite character in the entire canon, and that includes all the villains. Why then am I writing a story about him? Because someone has to redeem this boy. He's an A-grade berk in canon and almost all of fanfiction. No one ever fixes the things that are wrong with him. He gets away with half-hearted apologies and never seems to learn from the mistakes he's made. I believe it's because Harry is so desperate to avoid conflict as a result of his upbringing by the Dursleys (the only characters in canon I despise more than Ron), so he forgives Ron when he rightly shouldn't. Sometimes there are things a friend needs to call one out on, and Ron never is. Hermione seems perfectly willing, but Ron doesn't think much of her or her opinions. In fact, he seems to do things that are contrary to her opinions. By the way, constant fighting is not a sign that two characters are meant to be together. The couples who fight all the time don't stay couples; they get divorced. Don't get me off my point. I am currently leading a discussion of the canon where we critique it just as hard as if it were fanfiction. All elements of this story are rooted in the actual text of the canon. If you're going to complain about characterization, you're wrong. This is a story about Ron. I'm not going to bash him, but I am going to be honest about him. If you can't handle that, don't read this one.
