A good story. I find the Slytherins resisting Voldemort en masse in this way a little unbelievable though. And surely Crabbe should be the fire guy, given HPatDH

I have no idea what's wrong with the reviews, they appear ages after I write them.
Anyhow, this one will be the last since I'm done with the fic though i probably will check out the sequel.
There's a lot I'm not happy with but your story is well written from a technical point of view, there are some nice new twists and I'm curious to see how Harry's new friends will react to the return of athe Dark Lord. In this part of the story they were all very eager to help their friend but what will happen when their parents turn into Death Eaters again?
I don't like how Harry treats Hagrid in this fanfic and how caring Draco is. I just don't think he is the kind of kid that would put himself in danger to help a friend. Also, Harry's friend group is really too big. Choosing 2 or 3 for the main adventures would have been better. Anyhow, there's a lot bothering me but I'm also curious about what's to come and I want to know what's up with Lucius and how you will incorporate him into the next book.

I'm disappointed that Harry didn't receive Hedwig, she was his first birthday present and I freaking love that owl.
What also bothers me is that the Slytherins are too friendly towards Harry accept him way too easily especially since he was raised by muggles. Instead of pitying him, they'd sneer at him.
Most of them are from Death Eater families and I doubt they would welcome him with open arms. Of course not all Slytherins are Death Eaters and I would expect Harry to befriend some of those while the Death Eaters ones would try to make his life miserable except when students from other houses are present, then I would expect them to even defend him.
They are just too friendly, especially all that huggin seems out of character.
I also don't think that neither Snape nor Harry would make fun of Ron for being poor because both know what that's like.
Draco is a little too selfless, too. Ruining his holiday for his friend? I think he is someone who sees friends as an accessory and nothing else I doubt that he would thwart his own holiday plans to keep a friend company.
Something else about the Weasleys, I honestly don't think that the twins would just stand behind their little brother listening to taunts from Slytherin as they have done in a previous chapter. They would be much more vocal, so much so that they would be doing the talking. They wouldn't just play Ron's dumb bodyguards as Crabb and Goyle do for Malfoy.
I'm going to keep reading and then give my final judgement.

Hm, I like the premise of this fic but I still don't know what to think of it. The Slytherin kids are too friendly with Harry and while I don't believe that all Slytherins are Death Eaters, most of them are. I would expect Harry to only have a few friends while most of the Slytherins wouldn't be too thrilled to have him there. Tracy hugging him and philosophizing about friendship? That's too much I would expect them to tell Harry to change his views if he wants to stay in Slytherin.
And Snape is ooc as well. He's too friendly with Harry and I doubt that he would make fun of Ron and his family's financial status. Snape came from a poor family himself given that he had to wear ridiculous hand me downs. He would embarrass him with questions and sneer at his ignorance but he wouldn't make fun of his lack of money.
I'll keep reading though and let's see how I'll like it by the end.

Interesting premise; Harry and Draci becoming friends and going to Slytherin together.
I don't like that you gave Draco a brother and that Harry didn't receive Hedwig as a present. Let's see how things go from here
