Reviews for The Little Veela that Could
BCLinguist chapter 32 . 7/12
this story is a Hidden Gem, and I liked how you provided a detailed explanation for how Angels became veela. your scenes where the villains had the upper hand created tangible tension as I read, even if the tables were turned on the villains a little bit too easily. overall, I really enjoyed this story. Thanks for writing it.
BCLinguist chapter 21 . 7/12
I'm not sure I want to keep reading now that there is no Dumbledore to bash.
gginsc chapter 18 . 7/4
Why did Harry wait so long? Why did he allow Sirius to die and Natalie to be burned?
EJ Daniels chapter 32 . 6/30
I had started reading this once before and didn't finish it for some reason, no clue as to why. I'm glad I went back to it and completed it this time. It is a wonderful story with very believable characters. You do a wonderful job at describing the younger characters actions and thoughts. Several times I found myself laughing aloud. Very well written! Much thanks for sharing this with us.

Kind Regards,

EJ Daniels

Omg love the full veela fireball up his ass.
MagicaITrevor chapter 9 . 6/17
I guess I'm the one sitting here for chapters going, "... The will said that EVERYTHING" was to go to Hermione... Why isn't she or Harry outraged or demanding the rest of the journal back?"

Ah well. Eventually...
stevem1 chapter 32 . 5/19
The writing in this story was good, though the writer’s efforts to mimic the speech of 8/9 year old girls was irritating, as was the blocks of italic text.

The portrayal of Christianity/religion, angels/devils (and Veela being proto, not yet evolved angels/demons) is unconventional.

Dumbledore suffers from terminal blinding hubris. Snape is brave, but also scum that you scrape off your shoe. Draco is smarter than canon. Daphne and Narcissa were both interesting. Bellatrix is crazier than canon (in which she had some regard for Narcissa and Draco). I like the development of Cedric and Krum. Voldemort is a Saturday morning cartoon villain.

No one really learns in this story. You’d think they’d learn to avoid Hogwarts/Britain after the first trap.

The ICW involvement was well done.

This story is creative and different, which is cause enough to read it. Just be prepared to scratch your head more than once as both the bad guys and good guys do lame, stupid things, repeatedly. Both sides have a desperate need for competent leaders with disciplined troops.
gginsc chapter 8 . 5/7
Pompous old fool! Everybody must die except the bad guys! What a crock of bull!
Zandaino-Nova-Ari chapter 5 . 5/2
So does Harry get a new body or is he going to be a ghost the entire story? Cus I’d like to see him get a new body and how it comes about that he gets it.
Ruairi J.L chapter 3 . 4/3
This is an interesting story so far, but the shifting between tenses mid-paragraph is a mistake and a jarring one at that.
CatScratcher chapter 18 . 4/1
I'm sorry but WTF the random wedding ring from a random jewellers in france Sirious gets just happens to be a portkey?! Thats what finally broke this story for me
SuperReader3000 chapter 32 . 3/30
This story was so good! I love the scope that you were able to provide to the Veela and to the world at large. The house elf explanation was inspired and this story is now one of my favs! Thanks so much!
odonnellzoo99 chapter 32 . 3/7
