This is the worst story I've ever read. I'm glad it wasn't competed. The Red Wedding in the books and show were pointless, but were at least realistic and moved the stories forward. This though was twice as pointless and was about as real as giant fire breathing lizards that fly. Having the Northerners turn on each other and come to blows was rubbish. Killing off all those lords was stupid. And then you abandoned the story because obviously you'd created a situation you had no hope of controlling. Even the scene with the two escape parties was silly. What was the point of having both teams make attempts at the same time only to fail in such a lame fashion? I can't understand what the point of this chapter was, what a waste.

I am enjoying this story, and I thought you did a very effective job on your own version of the red wedding. Just out of curiosity, will Olyver now be the Lord of the Twins? with so many others being killed or traitors it seems he has been kicked right up the ladder.

I would love if you continued this, however you chose, but if you don't I understand. I loved this, and fresh of re-reading A Storm of Swords it was the perfect way to avoid my feelings about the Red Wedding.

A promising beginning for a fix-it fic, and one of the best places to start it, too. I entirely agree, that a lot of how both the Starks and the Tullys treat the passive-aggressive treason of the Freys is one of the more inexplicable elements of the story. It definitely felt like GRR Martin had the Northern host pass around the Idiot Ball for a while to get his desired plot: eliminate the elder Starks to pave the way for the younger children - Sansa, Bran, Arya - to take more of the center stage.

What you have posted is fantastic. I hope you come back to this.

Wow...Its just...wow.
I mean, you secured the Twins with Robb actually marrying a Frey- the pretty one, of coruse. She was also loyal to Robb and hated his father...and I can undertand that she did. What I cannot understan is that Walder Frey, with all of his sheeming mind and traitorous hand, have not think about securing his main heir and his beautiful daughter. I know that he didnt care a lot about his spawn but...he was a shady, intelligent bastard. Political gain was his main objective...I do not know, a cold-blooded indivic¡dual as him would have secured those two at least, dont you think?- and made the history so the stupid Greyjoy dont betrayed Robb (Very brilliant at it, maybe a little too brilliant) so you give a false sense of security to the reader. Just as the original does.
Really, he is really awful with the Stark, the only one left would be a crazy Arya- Im almost sure that Sansa will die when she finally does something right (Like...surpasing Littlefinger, or something) because fiction is a bicht like that- and a brooding Jon. He will discover his heritage and die. Maybe becoume an Other or something.
Well, back to your story, false sense of security. Genius. Bolton actually allying with the Lannister-that seem all but defeated, by the way- and suddenly a wild Asha appears?
Incredible. The destruction in a wedding, a good point. Lady Cat away with Bolton...scary. Poor Lady, if she not became an Other she will become a crazy vengenfull person after that. Or a crying mess. Dont know. Also...Where is Arya in this story? Because at the red wedding she was with Sandor, Snador is with the starks and before that she was with Bolton (If I remember right) so...She is with Gendry? Inside Nymeria? Silent as a cat? Stupid and prepoterius as a hatefull child? Praying death and names? ...Yeah, I like that kid. Shes crazy and has a problem with metaphors and animals.
And about your Red Wedding...wel done. Realistically the only good frey that you havent killed would have died the first at ASOIAF. Really, i gives your story so much character. But...It lacks perpective, the "Whats happening there?" that makes your head hurt and makes you shout and curse because "Who the hell was he? He wasnt relevant and then he goes on a killing spree, the son of a bitch. Now I cant remember nothing about him before. Shit. I do not want to reread. Stupid book, lets see what the khaleesi is doing"
I dont think that is a very positive review but I only review the stories that I really liked, and I really liked your story. Everyone wanted to hit Robb with a pan in the head until causing a concussion for marrying a girl that abused him in his illness and the made him marry him because "but Robb Youve fucked me, and hard and wild as a wolf, you have bring me shame and know for your honor you must marry me. So you can fuck me again. Nevermind the Freys. Nevermind the war. Nevermind that there will be more beautiful woman throwing herselves at you, fucking you much better and without asking nothing back (Maybe money. Scracht that, they will ask you money) beacuase youre a Stark, a man of honor"
Honor my ass. What the hell the honorable Stark are thinking half of the time? Honor is good, as well as principles, but thats that. Not worth throwing away all just plan just for a Milk of Poppy induced adventure. Im rambling. Im not gonna delete that. Live with it.
