Stories

All That Remains is my attempt to explain the complex love and friendship that exists between Johanna and Finnick. They are both my favorite characters, and, while I ship Finnick and Annie, I've sometimes wondered why these two were never a thing. Anyway, this takes place just before Finnick leaves for the Capitol in Mockingjay.

A Night For Firsts is my imagining of Finnick and Annie's wedding night. Ever since his first sugar cubes scene with Katniss, he's been (in my mind anyway) the most interesting character in the series. He has the whole sex symbol thing going on, and yet he's also something of a tortured soul. So, like Finnick on the night this story takes place, I'm charting new waters for myself with this story and my attempt to bridge the two. I have to say, I almost didn't post this because I didn't think it was any good. Now it's my pride and joy.

Crept Up On Me Moments from Finnick's life between the 65th and 75th Hunger Games. This is something I started writing prior to the release of Mockingjay and it is the single most time/life-consuming story I've ever written. I haven't yet decided if I want to write a full sequel or a series of spinoff one-shots from the perspectives of Finnick and other characters. I am open to suggestions.

The Calm Before My attempt at closure after the disaster that is Finnick canon in Mockingjay. The idea came to me while I was enjoying dinner with my husband shortly after the book's release.

Phantasmagoria was never something I intended to write. I was trying to imagine what Fred and Roxanne would look like when I wrote the first chapter, "Genetics," and it just took off from there. I'm also still writing some George/Angelina stuff and have been for the past few years, though I haven't posted any of it. Right now, I'm working on a longer fic that starts with George and Angelina's first kiss in this story and follows them...well, I'm not sure where yet.
