Do the Hogwarts house‘ colors reflect on the color of the magic of the inhabitants?
Romily chapter 55 . 7/23
Nothing wrong with being a cat person.
Romily chapter 41 . 7/22
Dang, that animagus form was sooo predictable. I would like to see something totally different someday. Grasshopper, little fish, mole, elephant. Something that’s just fun but not useful maybe - and something that’s not that predictable. I was sure when he started brewing the potion what he would be.

I enjoy your story although i can’t wait for Harry goes to Hogwarts - but when it’s too predictable i get bored. Another thing easy to predict was that Dora and Keith wouldn’t last and why Sirius wanted to spend Christmas at Remus‘.

One thing i am really not sure about is how Lucius got the weird Potter as the next dark lord idea. No idea why he feels the need to be a follower. Maybe this will be revealed later.

AS chapter 80 . 7/14
It’s taken me a while (and several re-reads) to leave a review for this series, as you’ve done an amazing job writing it and I wanted to make sure I left a thorough review.

This story was incredible to read for several reasons. You did a great job at portraying Harry as an 8-year old to start with, one who was mature for his age due to living with the Dursleys, but also one who needed to have a guardian because he is eight years old. For his part, Sirius’ overall maturity continued to increase as he focused on being a good guardian to Harry and keeping Harry safe, and it was really well-developed, and sweet to see their relationship grow into what it ended up becoming.

I started this story mainly because I love stories that explore the dynamic between Harry and Sirius, especially when Harry gets to live with Sirius but I found I enjoyed the other characters you introduced us to – Narcissa’s plot to turn Draco into a Gryffindor was well-planned in advance so it doesn’t feel like a shock when we get to the second story in your series, and watching Tonks really learn how to use her Metapmorphmagus skills was impressive as I’d never considered her ability to pose as other people.

While the story has a whole is well-written, I have to specifically compliment you on the chapter Life After Death – I thought it was beautiful how you portrayed the emotions of Harry seeing his old home, in addition to his parents’ grave and also including Sirius’ reaction too as it was his first time returning to Godric’s Hollow since his arrest.

There’s humor throughout this story, but I truly laughed out loud during chapter 54 during Draco’s muggleborn revelation, especially when he tells Harry it’s a pity his mom’s dead. I also loved how you sprinkled James and Sirius’ friendship throughout the story and while sometimes I would love if you developed them into a one-shot, they were certainly fun to read – Sirius falling asleep on the way to auror training, James breaking the nose of someone who punched Sirius, etc, and Remus and Sirius’ conversation about his furry little problem/Sirius’ homelife.

In addition, it’s interesting to see how many elements that are in the series turned up here and I’m curious to see how that’s handled for your future stories – the fact that we know what horocruxes are this early on in the series is a great and much-needed twist, in addition to Harry saving Peter’s life and using his life-debt early on. I also love that Sirius and Kreacher have a friendlier relationship, and we don’t have to wait for that to come about. I am curious about Harry’s theory that he is a horocrux that you dispelled, and I’m interested to see if you do choose to deviate from Rowling making Harry and horocrux, or if it’ll turn out that Remus’ theory was wrong.

Thanks for a really well-done start to this series!

SiriusBlackHeir chapter 80 . 7/3
This story is wonderfully written and the plot is the gift that keeps on giving. You're also really good at making everything seem credible with hints and foreshadowing and generally planting enough clues about where the story is going while being mysterious enough to still surprise the reader in a good way.
Your characterization is as good as canon (ignoring the cursed child, which would have been better of as a fanfic), and you take into account the changes from canon and make your characters grow and react as they experience them. You had me at the edge of my seat cursing various characters at many points and still I never anticipated even one of your plot twists (and I'm usually good at it, what with the amount of fics and fictional literature I've read). Hats off to you my friend.
Thank you for writing this wonderful fic
