I'm so so happy I found your fic. I already adored Casting Moonshadows - and this is just as good. And I feel, it's gives us something we've been deprived of - I've always hated book 4 to 7, because I found them too dark, too empty of any hope, and I hated that everyone I liked died, that Harry had to be such a perfect, selfless hero... and don't even get me started on that epilogue. I love you so much for writing this. Draco gets his redemption arc, because he deserved it (so much for than Snape..!) and the Marauders... this is so perfect. And it's sweet and funny and touching and well thought out. I'm in love with this story, with your writing (and with Casting Moonshadows. and with Remus, particularly.). Thank you for these two masterpieces.

Hiiiiii so I LOVE CASTING MOPNSHADOWS AND THE MAURAUDERS OF THE MIND. I ALSO HAVE LOTS OF TYPOS IN MY RXCITEMENT. BUT THIS IS INCREDIBLY GOOD AND DETAILED AND THOUGHT OUT WRITING I LOVE IT. WHy have you stopped updating?

The idea of how dementors can be killed is so cool! It totally makes sense. And Draco not caring if he'd die and Harry's patronus, all the emotions. I love your writing style, the story just flows and I love this fic, a completely original idea really well executed.

The conversation at the beginning is really well written, you manage to convey the awkwardness so well and everyone noticing but Harry, oblivious Harry is the best. The visual of blood was a really good way to physically show the mental distress as well. Also Draco's obvious care for Harry and desire to protect him at the Dursley's and the fact that he now carries around pain potions really nicely built on the care he began to show in a more obvious way last chapter. In the final section you really built the scene in a way that I could picture it and get the feeling of it really well.

I forgot to write a section in a review I posted on the last chapter, I tried to add it to there but apparently you can only do one review per chapter so I'm just tagging it on here:
I forgot to mention in my previous review that Harry just dropping the story about Puff in like it's nothing is a really interesting character point, that he just doesn't categorise that as particularly bad or traumatising in any way, and Draco's reaction and agreement to keeping Geoffrey (which is what inspired the aforementioned meme) is just a great development. Like previously when Harry's mentioned any sort of unsettling story or thing he's sort of brushed it off but you can see that he's really beginning to care.

This is my third time reading this story and this is definitely my favourite chapter. The sentient cakes are amazing, and it makes total sense that there would be magical ingredients, I've actually made a very bad quality meme based on that, I'm not really sure how to get it to you though if you wanted to see it? Then George finding out and explaining in more detail how the Fred thing works, once more makes sense, and him pointing out that Harry and Draco have become actual friends, which obviously :D. I love Althie, she's incredible, and the final few lines are really funny, I keep reading them back through.
