These are all greetings and many people are judged by their greetings. ‘Hi’ is a standard one. ‘Sup?’ is slang(as everyone knows) and often these people who use slang are either 1)Trying to fit in or 2) or someone trying to act cool. ‘Hello’ is a bit formal. People who use this are considered ‘smart’ ‘respectful’ and are even considered mature. This is a stereotype and unfortunately as much as we hate being stereotyped, it happens. When I was younger between Kindergarten and 2nd grade I was considered ‘normal’ well maybe kindergarten and second but in first I was bullied but let's not go into that. Now in Kindergarten and Second I was considered ‘normal’ I was like any other kid but in third grade something happened. I became interested in reading. Now growing up my dad would sit me on his lap each night and read me the Little House on the Prairie books. He did that for all my older sisters and tried with my little sister (but he didn't have enough time anymore). It the bonding that my dad had with his little girls. We all loved it and all of us are avid readers. But besides loving to listen to my dad read to me, I had never really picked up a book on my own. I knew how to read but I just didn't really see the point of it, not with having movies to watch or having other people read to me instead. But in third grade that changed. I had just come home from school and I walk up the stairs to see two of my sisters Hannah and Laura, talking to Hannah's best friend Angelica(but we all called her Jelly Bean) I was so happy I screamed ‘Jelly Bean!’ and rushed forward to hug her. She laughed and said ‘Hey squirt' and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I just grinned up at her. My sisters and Jelly continued to talk and I was curious on what they were talking about so I listened. They were talking about a book series that my sister Laura just read, it was called The Sisters Grimm and was about two sisters whose parents had disappeared and they had to go live with their Grandma who they had been told was dead. They had tried to escape but they didn't manage to. It was then that they found out that the little town that their grandma lived in was actually a town full of Fairy Tale characters. The younger sister Daphne who was six, was ecstatic. The older sister Selena who was twelve, not so much. She still didn't trust the old lady who called herself their grandma. The story goes on and the girls find out that the girls come from a long line of fairy tale detectives and that their great, great, great, great something grandpa's were famous for their mystery solving and we're called The brothers Grimm. People nowadays thought that the stories of their adventures, that they were just that, stories. My sister goes on to tell about it and I become fascinated. Of course I beg my sister to let me read it and she agrees, telling me that I will love it and I of course did. Now, while I did really love The Sisters Grimm, it wasn't the book series that really got me hooked on reading. No. For those stories were Percy Jackson. Oh Percy Jackson, I still love that series so much(I own every book and am even reading Riordan's new book xD) Those were the ones to catch me in heart-racing, mind-captivating adventures. After that you would always find me reading. Every second I could I was reading. No matter what I did my mind was always on the story, never focusing on anything else. I read during class, during recess, at home, in the car while driving. All I wanted to do was read. That lasted for 5 years. I still love to read, and I've read so much but there are other things that catch my interest but the funniest thing is that when I get home or when I'm at school I still read, it's just not book anymore but fanfiction. I still read books but when I'm not reading a book, or playing guitar, I'm reading fanfiction. In 7th grade I started to want to write fanfiction. I had found so many amazing ones it became a passion that I don't think will ever go away. I'm here now 7 years from when I started reading and so much has happened. It would take too long to go into everything. So, I guess what I'm trying to say now, is thanks for listening(reading) Hobbies-Reading, writing, drawing, day-dreaming, watching anime, reading manga and playing instruments. Instruments I play- guitar, ukulele, flute and a little piano and electric guitar Instruments I want to play- Electric bass, Spanish Guitar, drums. Current wish- I wish I could sing(so.freakin.bad) My goal for the future- To own a music shop with my mom(or to be a musician) What I'm practicing right now-My writing(definitely) my singing, playing electric guitar and trying to get a job. My goal in collage- Major in business and Minor in Music Things I never want to do- Sky dive, have kids(i’ll adopt) move away from my parents(im good where I am) Things I love- the world after it rains, camping, hiking, traveling, being with my family My stories: Most of them are on Hiatus because I'm re-writing all of them(except for the Hunter x Hunter one and the Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood one) I'm also working on my new Hetalia fanfic 'The Terra Saga' Have any other questions just ask ;) I don't have any problem with sharing ~LazyHaru~ (AN: I changed my name from DreamRealm3 but im too lazy to go through all my storires and change it) |
