The beautiful part of writing is that you don't have to get it right the first time, unlike, say, a brain surgeon.

Name: J.J. Banks. It really bugs me how many authors here put down their, name, age, and other things, only to write something like 'Not telling you!' What was the point of writing it in the first place then?

I enjoy: Reading, writing, drawing, dreaming, classic horror, musicals and when I wake up and find out I still have a few more hours left to sleep.

Favorite author/poet: Roald Dahl, Shel Silverstein, Dr. Seuss, Diana Wynne Jones

Favorite artist: Walt Disney, Jhoenen Vasquez, Peter de Seve

Favorite books: (Highly recommend reading any of these) Anything by Roald Dahl, The Scarlet Pimpernel series, The Chrestomanci series, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Dracula, Artemis Fowl series, Everything's Eventual (and 14 other dark tales), Sherlock Holmes series -- And these two I read without fail every year: Gables Against the Sky, and Princess Bride

Favorite comics: Calvin and Hobbes (if they can't make you smile, you're beyond help.) Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, Archie comics, VG Cats

Favorite anime: Yu Yu Hakusho, HunterxHunter, Yu-Gi-Oh the older episodes, (recently) Avatar the Last Airbender - I actually really love Beyblade, but I've only watched a few episodes. I fell in love with it because I am in love with Ladya's fanfiction, and that's mainly what she writes about. Go figure...

Favorite movies: Mary Poppins, Corpse Bride, Phantom of the Opera, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Great Mouse Detective. I really like musicals, animation and any Broadway remake.

Other things I love: Disney, Bleedman's Doushinjii, Everybody Loves Raymond and Full House. Don't ask. I call it post sit-com brain sludge syndrome, or SBSS. Homestar Runner, (as of recently) House, M.D.

Characters I obsess over and shall never let go of: The Scarlet Pimpernel (aka Percy), Hiei, Kai, Victor, Jack Skellington, the Centipede, Hobbes, Johnny C., Butler, Bert, Michael Hamilton, Stewie, Erik, Basil of Baker Street and Edward Hyde. HOUSE!

The Chains That Bind Us - Chapter 3 up! This story is mostly for humor purposes. It's fun to write, and a nice break from other stories.

Disease - 12 chapters. I have the general idea of the climax/ending in my head, but it's extremely muddled and difficult to organize, as I'm coming to find.

One Last Run - 2 Chapters, working on third.
