I had like a whole emotional break down so no I did not enjoy that my sister (an avid reader like myself) comforted me in my time of need and I had to stop reading in order to calm down. I couldn't calm down and TOOK A FREAKING MATH TEST IN ORDER TO FORGET ENOUGH TO CALM DOWN!

I know your story is finished and have been for some time. I love it. That's not why I wanted to let a review. I just don't understand how her family would be considered powerful. Sure they must have a lot of money but pastries, bookstore are not "necessary". Those who control what is obligated and necessary have power (Like Monsento and co with the control of the seed). Social network like Facebook, Twitter. Control of the communication network... Control of the energy like petrol and gas... so I don't understand how her family have power other than money. They can't force people to buy their cakes or books. Just my feelings.

This was perfect. I binge-read it all. There's definitively not enough good Honey stories out there.

This chapter was extremely hard for me to get through. Mostly because it hit a little too close to home for me, and I was not prepared. I started reading it and I couldn’t figure out why I was getting so emotional over Rika’s situation. Then when she met up with Chiyo and was thinking about how she wasn’t even being acknowledged, the realization hit me. This is a lot like a situation I dealt with in sixth grade with some bullying, where nobody AT ALL (other than teachers) would talk to me and I had no idea what I did wrong to deserve that treatment because they wouldn’t answer my questions of WHY. It was heartbreaking and honestly quite scarring, but I had repressed it and forgotten about it until the middle of this chapter when I was hit with the memories of it. I had to stop reading for a bit to regain my cool. Reading about this happening to a character is just as hard because I would never ever wish that experience upon anyone, not even a fictional character. It’s one of the worst feelings in the world.

I’m normally not very into hostxOC pairing fics, but the summary caught my attention and I thought might as well. That being said, after reading this first chapter the story looks extremely promising! Rika’s character is interesting and that gives the story a lot of potential. I’m looking forward to see how she develops!

Confusing

I don't know why, but even though Mitskuni apologized and did it for a good reason-the appeal of them being a couple just pisses me off. I am actually thinking that they shouldn't end up together. It just made me so mad that I actually have to rant about it... But this story is so damn good that I might as well finish it xD
