If they know each other in real life, why the hell is Argo charging him for information that could help save his life and ensure higher success of making it out of the world? Does she care so little for an IRL friend?

Meh, he could just help her level up...it is her choice if she wants to be on the front lines, it would be safer with him than by herself after all.. Hopefully with the ending of this chapter he realizes he shouldn't keep leaving her and they form a more...permanent party ?

I am kind of really disappointed that they split up...why does she HAVE to get lost or find herself with Rosalia? Or get saved by Kirito? Isn't the point of fanfiction to change some aspects of canon? Doesn't having an OC already change things? If anything, why wouldn't she just be saved by Tensei if anything?
