I've seen protagonists with low agency but this one seems to have negative agency. She's less of a character and more of a McGuffin.

Honestly, if being thought badly of got in the way business, Gato wouldn't have had that company in the first place. Orochimaru wouldn't have the backing of Rice. They're overreacting here. She's always been in danger. Security hasn't prevented a single attack on her.

It is hard to know how to characterize Sasuke when the massacre is altered. We don't get inside his head like we do for Naruto and Sakura in canon. He seemed pretty traumatized over it.

I think it's fine to have a problem with Itachi. Even knowing his motives it's hard to forgive that. I wonder about Madara/Obito though.

On the bright side with Root, Danzo was too paranoid to train a successor. Maybe whoever takes up the mantle will actually show up during invasions to help out. If it isn't disbanded.

With the amount of foreshadowing of Inzen wanting to kidnap hachi. I'm split of wanting it to happen. On One hand Inzen has been in the background plotting and we've been reading his process of it so for it to not happen would be disappointing at the same time no keep that creep away from hachiko.
