The personalities of the characters are perfectly displayed between dialogue and simple, subtle gestures and it really shines while the writing style is descriptive to a point that you can practically dance within the created scenarios! This book is literally one of my favorite out there and you can be certain that I’ll continue rereading this whenever I’m in the mood for some good ol’ fashioned angst!

Normally I would say you're too far into the past for Naruto to be born due to butterfly effects. But then again, this world has "magical" prophecies in place. Certain things are a fact or a certainty, like the birth of the Child of Prophecy. You can't change that, lest it isn't a prophecy but a speculation.
Though highly unrealistic, the entire thing makes sense if you use magical hijinks as an excuse.

Her genin plan is extremely unintelligent.
A genin is much more likely to die in a Kyubi attack. A genin is much more likely to die in one of the many canon(and any from butterflies) invasions of Konoha. Hell, a genin is very likely to die on a simple C rank where a nin like Zabuza shows up.
Staying low ranked and low skilled doesn't somehow translate to longevity- this isn't modern Earth first world countries where there is civilians with their small(on average) chance of dying young, and then military members with their higher chance of dying young.
This is the war torn country where your civilian self gets a nuke dropped right on your house because you happen to live in the wrong city. This is the war torn country where you get killed because enemy soldiers need your house as a safe place to sleep for the night. Or maybe Orochimaru just wants another test subject.
While choosing genin is exponentially smarter than choosing civilian, it's still the suicidal choice. In Narutoworld, most especially a darker non-kids-show Narutoworld, you essentially have to strive to be the best ninja you can be, or consciously acknowledge your life expectancy is entirely reliant on luck.

She is eminently stupid to have fallen into such a habit of speaking English. Languages can and have been reverse-engineered, in this world where even small children are routinely taught to break codes she'd be figured out easily.
