Regarding My Old Fanfictions as Opposed to My Writing Now

To tell you the truth, I should have put something up like this sooner when I started writing fanfiction again (so basically when I first published The Mt. Ebott Case). It was a review recently written on the first fanfic I ever wrote, way back when I was only 14 (so still a baby writer) called The New Girl that prompted me to put this on my profile.

As of writing this, I am 17. I have grown so much as a writer since those days when I had the otaku glow about me. I look back on stories like The New Girl, Dating Advice for Tsunderes, and basically everything I ever wrote 3 years ago (So almost everything I have posted on here) and I cannot read them because I cringe so hard. Most, if not all, of the criticisms you may think to write about my stories from back then I have already thought of myself. Seriously, I have no idea what 14-year-old me was thinking. I only keep them up because they are a reminder of what I have grown past, and not something to run away from and pretend they never existed. And hey, some people do/did like them.

Honestly, I wish the reviewer would have put it up with their actual account (if they have one) as opposed to a guest profile. I appreciate their honesty and I feel that if we could talk to each other we would become fast friends. And I hope they did read my most recent fanfiction like they said they might. I am much more confident in the Mt Ebott Case than I am in my other stories, and since it's being written for fun anyway, I'm not putting as much pressure on myself. I feel like it's coming out a lot nicer than my other fanfics because of that (although I have reread and know there are some discrepancies when it comes to detail in chapter 2... I need to fix that.)

I figured some people following my stories are tired of them not being updated, so I decided to put up a little story status thing. This is only for my incomplete stories.

Dating Advice for Tsunderes: Currently on hiatus until further notice, but it will be continued.

42 Forbidden Loves: I have been lying to you for years, this story is on an indefinite hiatus. I realize I have many requests, and I will write them eventually, if anyone here still cares about the stories I quit working on for years.

The Mt. Ebott Case: I have every intention of writing and finishing this as quickly as my free time will allow. I love where this is going, and I feel like people who read it will as well.
