i don't know about the second meaning in the ending of this story

The FEELS! wow...guess my hopelessly fangirlish heart would set the second interpretation as this was a dream, and Kuroko's by his side where he should be! since there are TWO "..."
but even if that's not the case, the feels anyway...! :)

I think the second meaning would be that he's finally awoken from his "the only one who can beat me is me" and "the point is to win" state. whether Kuroko really is dead or not, it's kind of like he's finally realized that he does love basketball, that he does need Kuroko, and that one day he will meet someone stronger than him. after all, it doesn't say whether his "dream" was a nightmare or a pleasant dream... and hating basketball (or being bored of it) is certainly a nightmare, I think. in any case, this was a really brilliant idea, very original plot and very well-written. thank you for posting it!

Hello there! So, I read this fic months ago and I have a bad habit of going 'I'll review this later' and not doing it until months later...I am sorry. But um, here I am with some thoughts now and this is probably going to be a ramble that is incoherent because most of my reviews are, so sorry in advance.

Okay, can I just say that this fic made me cry? Like, I hardly cry while reading anything and up to the point when I read this I've only ever cried twice before while reading something. The emotion was there...And look, I scrolled up to re-read that ending and I have tears in my eyes again, haha. Just how Kuroko and Aomine balance each other and just how at the end Kuroko gave back to Aomine what Aomine gave to him. I mean, that's something that I always love about AoKuro and I love how it got portrayed here as well. I also really love how you write Aomine here. He just has that attitude to him and it just makes me laugh! Your writing of him makes this such an enjoyable read. Just how his attention always starts to slip back towards those magazines of his in the beginning, him not understanding that he just kinda misses Kuroko's presence when he thought that he left at first...And just his test scores, man. Poor Kuroko xD But yeah, I just love the mixture of lightheartedness and angst in this. Just, great work on this. I thoroughly enjoyed this and it's one of my fav KnB fics out there.

1. Everything was just a dream. Kuroko didn't die.
2. Everything did happen, and he was remembering all of it by dreaming
3. He was in a coma gasp!
4. The dream is supposed to represent something (and didn't actually happen)

THAT. WAS. BEAUTIFUL. I could've sworn this was going to be some light, funny little fic about Aomine having to deal with and gradually becoming friends with a legit book fairy. But then you went, an you added a storyline, and a meaning, and foreshadowing (that I didn't catch AT ALL), and a plot twist, and it was just amazing! What you did was really different, but it was enjoyable, and applaud you for it. Thanks for posting!
