I love this!

You know, it always struck me as funny that Fury seemed to think that Tony Stark would ever think to not use his genius to fudge up anything a professional psychiatrist might try to come up with about him. The man might as well be a Nara from Naruto for how much obfuscation he uses about himself.

To put it in perspective I've seen the movies so out of order that I saw Avengers: End Game before I actually watched Iron Man 3.

goddamn! this just broke me a little bit, I think. this was superb, hope u write more in the same vein...

I like Natasha's distinction between Tony giving her orders and Iron Man giving her orders.

Thor's response reminded me of reading Beowulf in school. A leader gave his people mead and meat and arm-rings, as well as shelter. By those standards, of course, Iron Man is second in command.
Steve's analysis of Tony and the situation feels right.

Ugh I love Tony so much. He is so flawed and yet such a freaking hero and model. And of course he would be second in command, who else would be?
Loved the reasons the other avengers gave for following Tony's orders. Especially Thor and Bruce.

I. Absolutely. Love. This. Fic. I’m a huge supporter of Tony Stark, and he’s my favorite avenger (after Spider-Man). He is soooo important to the team, and this fic captures that perfectly. I love every single team member’s reactions, and I sooo wish this fanfic was longer. But you still did an amazing job. I loved it!
