I am really loving Ryoto. Poor Midori is way in over her head.

I was following this a while ago. Picked it back up when I realized you weren't dead. From the beginning, it's just as satisfying as before. Still a few points of confusion, as you tend to imply a lot. That whole bit with baby-God explaining Midori's circumstances in the dark tournament... Where did he get that information? As far as I could follow, they had only. Met the once, right? That confused the crap out of me.

If it were me in her shoes, I would have been driven to insanity long ago. There's a point with a lack of solid sleep and building stress would just make me turn that Necrosis technique on myself just to spite the bitch that says "I need you, but I hate you." Basically, I'm saying that Midori's not really relatable in the willpower department. She has too much where it counts, where any normal person would cave under the pressure and sink fully into self-doubt and depression or maybe PTSD at this point. I know she's had her bouts of it all, but she's almost TOO strong to relate to. Basically I want to see her sink into certifiable insanity for a bit, do something totally drastic and make the demon lady that's been fucking with her panic and try some different approach, lest let her get herself killed. You build these relationships and emotions almost flawlessly, but each chapter doesn't carry them over. It almost feels like "It's a new day! Screw whatever I was feeling yesterday, but I totally remember it anyway!"

This is easily one of the most well-put-together stories I've read on this site, and I love it, but it does not make sense that she hasn't broken under this pressure. I'm not saying that her friends can't bring her back to normal, but it's getting a bit... Unrealistic in that willpower area.

Yay new chapter! Definitely good call on Kurama’s part with the whole note messaging system: given Yomi’s hearing they won’t be able to talk to each other without him overhearing them. Also interesting now that other demons are noticing Kurama’s attachment to Midori..which can either be good or bad: good because they know not to mess with Midori or fear Kurama’s wrath or bad because she’s probably now his weak spot. Midori sassing Ryoto which is always fun but also she needs to be careful…you never know when he might snap..OOoooo Hot demoness Chie flirting with Midori? Wonder how Kurama will feel about that..And holy shit Ryoto is the real deal I guess Midori’s realizing she really shouldn’t be messing with him now..

Woohoo, an update! Thanks for updating :) I love Midori and Ryoto's interactions although they probably don't love it as much as I do lol and yep, it wouldn't be Midori if she didn't get into any troubles because of her snarky mouth xD
