I love the story progression, the characters, and those subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) references to the actual canon are brilliant! You even managed to throw in some good symbolism, which is not something one expects when reading fanfiction. And you are just great at making a story come to life. I mean, the scene on the cemetery, for example, is just so cinematic - the thunderstorm, the shootings, the explosions!.. And I am in love with the setting, even though I am usually not fond of stories set in this time period. But you are so good with placing historical facts into a story, it feels so real and natural! Thank you a lot for this magnificent work! |

The interaction! The mystery behind the mafia and the brothers! It was so thrilling to see when and where the detectives were going to realize that there were two of them and oh my gosh the feeling of betrayal because they're in too deep and its amasing AND OH MY GOSH I'M RAMBLING BUT ITS SO WELL WRITTEN AND I'M HAPPY THAT' THERE'S A HAPPY ENDING! ajJHSDJGHHG;SA; It's so wonderful to read something so amazing!
