Ladies and Gentlemen, rooftop viewers, I'd like to present to you... My profile page! [trumpet noises]. Cheesy, I know; I can be a corny person. I'm also a hopeless romantic, but I doubt you really needed to know that. So, I'd like to start out by saying that I have undergone a name change. I previously went by the name "Bobby Corwen", the name of which was an allusion to Final Fantasy IX. He was a Chocobo that resided in Black Mage Village. If it isn't apparent by now exactly why I have undergone a name change, well, then I'll inform you. I am a girl. There you have it, folks. Bobby Corwen was a male Chocobo, and the name itself for those who aren't familiar with the reference is distinctly masculine regardless. So, to remedy being called "mister" now and again (which was my own fault; I was the one who chose a guy name), I changed my alias. So, I am henceforth known as "Jesters of the Moon". Pretty cool, right? As it turns out, "Jesters of the Moon" is also a reference to Final Fantasy IX; it's a song for two goofy, devious jesters. My new name is another obscure reference to a Japanese video game made more than a decade ago because of two simple reasons: 1. It is an awesome game that I love very much and-- 2. I just gotta have my nerdy references going on. [Sidenote: I have recently been betaing/co-authoring for an amazing author who writes many things for the YJ fandom. Her username is Toocreative4life. You should check her out if you're a sucker for Dick Grayson like I am.] Also-- my deviant art page: http:// I'm pretty new to art, and I'm more or less winging everything, so please be kind, guys. oOo I love reading fanfiction and reviewing. Hopefully one day I'll possess the courage to place up my writing, but for now I'm peachy with this. For anyone who's wondering, 'where the heck did she come up with her alias?': I got it from Final Fantasy IX. Some quotes: "Virtue: You don't need a reason to help people." [Zidane, FFIX] "You don't make a character have sad, powerful moments by making them mopey and angsty all the time (See: Final Fantasy VIII). You do it by making them happy, confident, charming, upbeat... and then you break them. " [Youtube comment I saw]. Thank you for taking the time to read through my pointless babbling and whatnot. Feel free to send me a PM if you ever wanna talk about anything, really-- and I do mean anything. I myself undergo the occasional panic attack and I have my suspicions that I have mild depression, though I have no intention of going to a psychologist. My point is: if you want to talk to someone who understands, or if you are experiencing suicidal thoughts and want a sympathetic ear-- send me a line. Or maybe you just want to talk about fruit- I don't know- then that's cool too. I like to think of myself as a friendly person, so don't be shy. -Jesters of the Moon |
