Hey, this is Vanessa. I'm 17. I live in Florida. I read and write, mainly fiction. I tend to be dark and depressing, a bit of a pessimist, but I do have a humorous side which I have been trying to show more in my works. I'm also a sucker for a happy ending. My stories say more about me than I ever could, so just go on and read. Reviews are also appreciated.

I have not written FanFiction in a long time, and have only recently revisited my old works. I see now how poor my writing was, and have consequently taken down many of my old stories. Some I have left up, despite their poor quality, simply because so many people seem to have enjoyed them and I can use them as a contrast to my new stories. I am unsure how much I will be writing on here, but I hope to be able to post stories occasionally, if not regularly.

I will also be posting these stories on my new deviantART account; possibly with some fan art as well, if I can gather the courage to post any of my own. I've always been better with the written word, but I do enjoy challenging myself. My Biggest Pet Peeves:

Grammar - If I criticize your grammar, please don't be insulted. It's just the way that I am, even if it's somewhat hypocritical as I am prone to errors myself.

Exaggeration - I am not referring to the descriptive kind. I use that in excess myself. This is specifically for FanFictions. If the author of a book or writer of a show or such gives you a tidbit of information on a character, there will inevitably be a FanFiction writer who blows it up into the entire personality of that particular character.

Example: Remus Lupin from Harry Potter. It is mentioned that he likes chocolate, and that Potions was not his best subject. In nearly every Marauders era story, he's a chocoholic who goes around blowing up cauldrons. He's more than that! Those were facts, not defining characteristics!
