Books, TV, and Movies: I am an absolute nerd for both science-fiction and fantasy, if you haven't already gathered that from my username. I have a long list of favourites, but I'm a basic bitch at heart so most are mainstream: - Books: ASOIAF, LotR, Harry Potter, Narnia, anything Tamora Pierce, Ender's Game, Dune, The Queen's Thief by Megan Whalen Turner, the Temeraire series, Red Rising, and anything N.K Jemisin. - TV series: GoT, ATLA, LoK, the Witcher, My Hero Academia, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Fleabag, the Dragon Prince, Carnival Row, Merlin, Good Omens, the Umbrella Academy, and Love, Death, and Robots. - Movies: Marvel, DC (sometimes), LotR, Miyazaki, Pan's Labyrinth, Star Wars, Gattaca, A Man from Earth, M. Night Shayamalan's ATLA (kidding, although I too enjoy watching intricate martial arts routines just to see a small pebble floating past.) Shipping: For the most part, I ship all canon pairings, and other characters I feel would work well together or have had some chemistry in the canon plot, including the occasional more-than-slightly problematic ships (e.g. Reylo, Jonsa etc.). That being said, get those adult/child age gap pairings the fuck away from me. Updating: I was fifteen or sixteen when I started writing fanfiction, and only just recently started writing again. Frankly if you have read any of my pieces from 2012/2013 (especially If Lyanna Was Alive) then I sincerely apologise. That shit is atrocious, and I'm currently (finally) trying to rewrite and finish it. I'm currently at uni and work one to two jobs depending, so unfortunately I don't get to write very often. Like most of us, I'm still looking for those magical time management skills. |
