Okay, so that whole super-genious only found in cartoons doesn't make much sense, but by the time he reaches Voldie someone with an extremely high inteligence and Harry's personality WILL have aquired quite alot of knowledge. And the coriculum of hogwarts is pathetic if someone like Ron doesn't flunk out, that much is obvious.

But it would have been much more realistic if he struggled a bit, especially in the beginning. How did he get the books he learned from? Elementary school libraries only carry child-safe books and elementary school level books. The Dursley's live in suburbia, where there is no library for miles...you might actually have to travel to London for it, if I remember the map correctly.

I suggest you read a writer's guide that is aptly named The Hero's Journey. It has a fantastic base-outline for any and all stories. Regardless what kind of story you write.

Seeing him struggle, getting help, and overcoming that struggle, it helps making it more realistic.

However, I LOVE the ending! Which I REALLY hope is more of a wonderful beginning than an end.

And I can easilly see how it would work. They're both highly inteligent and powerful...likely in the same league, but Voldie has more than 50-60 years of gathering knowledge on Harry, and would be a good mentor.

Harry ONLY cares about learning amd research, and doesn't give a shit wheither the world burns or if Voldie rules it with an iron fist. But he'll never forget the kindness (selfish tho it may be) that Voldie showed him by offering him his dreams. And gratitude is a powerful emotion. Even to the most rational minds.

And as Harry has neither a need to rule or destroy him, there is no comflict. And Voldie would encourage rather than limit his research.

And Voldie gains the most loyal follower he has since Bella and Barty, and a FAR more useful one. And since you have to be insane to let Harry do whatever he wants to do, nobody anywhere ever would offer him a better deal. Not that they could...matching Voldies expertise would be difficult, not to mention the steady supply of experimental subjects.

And with a single posed question to "How much can you make a human suffer before their body and/or mind gives out? And how?" He would have Harry curious enough to find out, and the test subjects more than happy to spill the beans on anyone and their own grandmother and daughter.

And what an interesting open ending... Does that mean he is agreeing to Voldemort's proposition, or that he's planing to burn him alive with his touch and just take the library and lab for himself. What am I saying, it's the latter, obviously. :)

poor techer... why did they never let him climb some classes and did give him extra study material and outside teacher to teach him more and Keep him calm...i think in Japan they would love him as Student and would give him so much to learn that he even gets problems
