That “marriage counselor” line made me laugh out loud. You write the boys so well and in character. I love how there was a lot of action in this story, but at the heart of the matter was the brothers’ relationship- just like in the show!

I really enjoyed the highlights of Sam's guilt and willingness to die for what he done. I feel they didn't push that element to the length or at least the angst that you did in this fic. I also appreciated Dean scolding him for it because that was the one thing about season 5 that I was missing. I know Dean was upset with him for awhile but I just wish there had been just a little more reassurance or forgiveness for Sam in that season. I wasn't really feeling it in that season like I do in your stories. And I really liked the twist of hunters hunting Sam and Dean again. Obviously they would have a lot of hunters after them in that season. And the abandoned town was just creepy. Really loved this story!

Certainly wasn't the first or last time a few hunters went after them in Season 5. Of course even if they had been killed, it probably would have just been another forgotten lap through the pearly gates. It was strongly implied that they did far more laps through Heaven than the one they were made to remember. Thank you for posting!

I love every word of this fic from the bad assery to the bro moments! You are an amazing author and you capture the essence and relationship of the boys so amazingly well! This is easily the best season 5 fic ever written and definitely my personal favorite! Amazing!

I really love this one. I mean, I know I keep on telling you this. Because it's true. You're definitely one of my favorite authors ever because after 400 stories now (congrats, by the way, that's such an awesome landmark to have reached!) you still make every single piece different and just as engaging and intense and well written and in character as the one before. You know, despite the fact that his behaviour is probably not healthy, I love the fact that Dean needs Sam by his side so much (and needs to take care of him in equal amounts), that he would forgive him just about anything. On the other side, I love how Sam comes across as insecure little boy whenever he thinks that his big brother doesn't like him much anymore, or doesn't want his company anymore. Apparently Sam still needs to be reassured time and time again by Dean, even though just about anything Dean does, he does for his little brother. - This just shines through in this story. So, thank you.

Whoooaaa. I loved the Dean-Sam relationship. I was really impressed with how the story had the broken trust element, but also the codependency and protectiveness between the two.

As always, wonderfully written and just - brilliant.

I'm ridiculously protective over both Sam and Dean, so when they're somewhat at odds (or just... finding it difficult to trust and forgive) I'm always horribly torn. The fact that you love both boys equally and know them extremely well, always shines through in your works. I flinch and my heart aches over some stories/lines, but I never feel compelled to defend either of them to the other because you show them both without bias, and with so much understanding. (:

Great fic, as always. This would've been a good ep to see, and I liked that you resolved a few of the boys' issues as the storyline kept moving. And of course I can't possibly dislike Winchester whumpage. I think I fell in love with juggernaut Dean a bit there...*sneaky grin* Thanks for sharing!

That was really good. I loved the whole thing. It was horrible with the hunters taking them and doing that, but I really liked how you handled Sam and Dean and their thoughts and reactions. The hunters coming after them made sense and I liked how they weren't just easy.

I love how Sam jumped in front of the knife and how Dean's protectiveness took over. They both would still do anything for the other even though they were having those issues and were not sure about anything regarding their relationship.

Bobby's comments were so Bobby and completely perfect.

And I loved the part at the end. You captured Sam and Dean beautifully, as themselves and interacting together. Great story.
