I am easily entertained, I have a short attention span, but I love to read, get far too distracted doing so, and can actually lose days if I'm not careful (have to remember to eat sometime)

As to genres, I'm not very picky, but I don't usually stick with dry or angsty stuff for long periods

I want to write something long enough to put up (and complete it), but I tend to lose inspiration as quickly as it arrives, and thus get part way into a story, and cannot continue (I'm pretty sure that the plot bunnies are scared off by my excitable nature). At some point I hope to overcome this and actually write an original novel.

09/10/13 update:

OK, so I know it's been like, half a year since I posted a chapter. And I have #3 done. But it's about half the length of the others, so that bothers me. So I haven't put it up, thinking that I'll find some stuff to make it longer or fill it out a bit more. Only that's not happening. So, I'll likely post the 3rd chapter as is this week. Then there will be at most, 2 more chapters (which I actually already know the plot points of), and I will have completed my first fic. I am boggled. Rejoice, or something. DX

09/17/13 update:

So, I decided to put up the third chapter, even though not much more was added. It still bugs me a bit that it's so much shorter than the other two, but if I had added anything past where I'd stopped, I'd get into the final 'arc' of the story before the 'epilogue' snippets, so I didn't want to go there.

I hope that the next chapter won't take so long to put together, but I haven't actually had any inspiration to start it yet, despite knowing generally what's going to occur. On the other hand, I've been reading a bunch of really good SI (self-inserts) lately, and it actually inspired stories that are currently willing to be written. The whole concept that came to me because of it is actually pretty massive. It would involve the SI being reborn into consecutive worlds each time they die, and the overarching theme inspiring the working series title 'Another Little Brother'. So far, I've got vague ideas for Naruto, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Harry Potter (maybe on this one), Final Fantasy 7 or 8, and a passing desire to include series like Magic Kaito, Kuroshitsuji, Ouran Host Club, Ranma 1/2, or X-men without actually having any concepts in mind for them.

I don't know if I should post it though. The first chapter of the first story is only in it's first draft, and while I've been getting a lot of work on it done, I don't know how long that will last. Unlike Yoko-Mama, it's not a short thing broken into snippets. If I get stalled on it, it would not be nearly as easy to get back to working on. Also, being an SI, it's a bit more personal for me. Even if I do complete a chapter, I think I would have to work up the courage to put it up even more than a regular work.

03/05/14 update:

Oh my god, it's been a while. Yeah, I'm fully aware of it. This is why I put a warning on my work that I am a fickle writer. Updates have no schedule. I think it's partly because after last update I started thinking about NaNoWriMo, and knew that YokoMama was not nearly long enough to be able to work on for it. Thus, I started on another work, and then seriously had issues getting back into the mindframe for it. As in, I haven't put another word down yet. On the up side, I do know where the story is going to go. And end. I just have to get the words and then put them down on the screen. Ugh. So, I apologize for no updates since September, but I'm trying. And it will be finished (mostly because I do actually know what the rest of the story contains), but I did give warning. It was for a reason.

01/29/15 update

So, Hi!

Yeah, I know, it's been forever (or, almost a year). Like I mentioned in the last profile update, I ended up moving away from working on YokoMama while I was concentrating on NaNoWriMo last year, and never got back into it. Still haven't. I've ended up writing about two dozen more bunnies (or more), and actually starting to write actual chapters in half-a-dozen or more of them, but I never got back to YM, yet. Sorry about that.

I do appreciate the comments, and I hope people put the story on watch if they want to keep up with it, because I know how it ends, and as soon as I can get back into it, I'll actually know what I'm going to put down, but it may be a while (as evidenced by my current track record).

On the other hand, It also makes me a bit scared to put up any other work. Because I have nothing (nada, zilch, zero) that could be close to being considered a 'completed' work. So, It'd be in the same boat, but probably looking at something even longer and more drawn out and with a high possibility of never being finished. On the other hand, I could start a 'bunny-file' story, or a 'random snippets' stories. One where I just write as much as I can, and then put up the chapter/scene as a chapter in an 'anthology' of unfinished work. I have no idea if anyone would even like to see something like that.
