Age: old enough to buy whatever I want to buy Gender: Female Likes: anime, manga, reading, blinding myself on the computer, there are other things but why list them all?? Dislikes: carrots(they're gross), spiders(they're creepy and gross), stalkers(they're disturbing, creepy, and gross), exams(...i just don't like them),and really there are far too many to name so why waste my time? I am in college and majoring in Psychology. Yes, Psychology. Why? I'd like to chalk it up to a moment of temporary insanity but then I'd be lying. So, I don't update regularly. I'm also lazy. So please...don't expect regular updates. Actually, I'm just terrible with multi-chapter stories. ~X~ Current Fandom is Hitman Reborn! Favorite Character in KHR: Hibari Kyouya with Dino a close second. D18 is my OTP though I'll read any story with Hibari in it regardless of genre or pairing (I'm really not all that picky about pairings) ~X~ Favorite Quotes: "Knowledge is power, power is the root of all evil. Therefore, study to be evil." "I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person." "Lately, the only thing keeping me from being a serial killer is my distaste for manual labor." "Evening news is where they say 'good evening' then proceed to tell you why it isn't." "Eagles may soar but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines." "Caution: cape does not enable user to fly." "How does the never to be differ from what never was?" -Cormac McCarthy The Road Here are some actual labels/instructions on various products (that I couldn't help but snicker at): On a Sears hairdryer -- Do not use while sleeping. (Because really, when else do we girls have time to dry our hair?) On packaging for a Rowena iron -- "Do not iron clothes on body." (...one would think that it's common sense...but then again, I suppose you can save some time doing that though the medical bills might end up changing your mind) On Nytol Sleep Aid -- "Warning: May cause drowsiness." (I could not possibly imagine why that would be) On most brands of Christmas lights -- "For indoor or outdoor use only." (I really want to know where else Christmas lights can be put up if not indoors or outdoors) On a Japanese food processor -- "Not to be used for the other use." (I suppose a translation error can be to blame for this, but if that's what it really translates to...) On Sainsbury's peanuts -- "Warning: contains nuts." (Damn. I never would have been able to figure that out on my own) On an American Airlines packet of nuts -- "Instructions: Open packet, eat nuts." (Are those instructions really necessary? What else are you going to do with a packet of nuts? whoa...my mind just went down the gutter for a second) On a Swedish chainsaw -- "Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands or genitals." (Was it happening often enough that a warning was required?) Sometimes after seeing things like this, I have this sinking feeling that humanity will only go further downhill as time goes on. I'm sure I have more, but I can't think of any right now. ~X~ I have a tendency to write little pieces when I'm bored and I never get around to making up a plot for them, so they just end up collecting dust in some obscure folder. So, if anyone wants to expand any of these into a story/oneshot just PM me so I can read what you come up with. KHR: Primo & Guardians - based on the premise that Mukuro ends up betraying and (somehow) taking down the Vongola Family In a separate place where time forever stood still, six figures gathered. The last member of their group had not answered the call. Perhaps it was for the best. Daemon had turned on them four hundred years ago and began the decline of the Vongola Family. Was it fate then that Sawada Tsunayoshi – the last descendant and the one to whom Primo entrusted his legacy, his hopes, and his visions for Vongola – had accepted the Mist Guardian who would finish what Daemon had unknowingly started? Giotto could only smile sadly at his remaining friends. G. placed his hand on the blonde’s shoulder, and Ugetsu mirrored the action in a show of support. Knuckle bowed his head in prayer. Lampo sullenly slouched but didn’t utter a single complaint, and Alaude merely closed his eyes and kept his thoughts to himself as always, though his presence spoke more than he would ever physically say. The five Guardians stood vigil around their Sky and silently overlooked the tears falling from auburn eyes. KHR: Mukuro Introspection Mukuro could remember having many different forms over the course of time and reincarnation. Animals, ghosts, demigods, devils, heavenly beings. Travelling through the Samsara was anything but easy, for the cycle of pain was everlasting. But even with memories of countless past incarnations, Mukuro had yet to come across any being or creature as cruel or as egoistic as humans. Their selfish desires blinded them to the suffering of others, even to the point of torturing innocent children for the sake of salvaging lost pride. Hatred was a powerful emotion, and somewhere during the course of having his original eye ripped out and replaced by a foreign entity carrying memories and knowledge not his, it built and built before exploding into a bloody massacre. As he stood in the crumbling remnants of the Estraneo lab, Mukuro laughed bitterly because his hatred could not be appeased with such a small offering. So, he turned his heterochromatic eyes to the world he had never experienced in this life but recalled from a previous one. Mukuro never wanted to be reborn as a human ever again, and the only way to achieve such an aspiration was to eliminate the problem itself. Humans, he blithely decided, did not need to exist. He would embrace their egoistic ideals for this one lifetime and drown humanity in a sea of its own blood, all for the sake of his own self-interest. KHR: Tsuna Introspection (sort of) I actually had a plot for this, but I had to put this aside to concentrate on a research paper. And since I didn't make any notes of what the original plot had been, I just tossed this aside. This is a darker spin on Tsuna's emotions after returning from the future. The world worked in strange ways. That the world was filled with strange people didn’t really make him feel better, but it was a given fact. Yet at the end of every eventful day, Tsuna was still left confused as to how things turned out the way they did. Trying to make sense of everything was a futile effort on Tsuna’s part due to the simple addition of Reborn into his life. When the infant hit man dropped into his life unexpectedly and rather explosively, the brunet’s simple world turned incredibly…weird. Dangerous but in a weird and definitely life-threatening way. The costumes he could deal with, even though he didn’t understand how no one else seemed to be able to see through Reborn’s ridiculous disguises, obvious as they were. Tsuna could deal with constantly getting shot with a lizard turned gun. Sure, the thought of one day getting hit by the wrong bullet - thus send him skipping off to the afterlife decades too early - terrified him to the point of recurrent nightmares, but Tsuna learned to trust Reborn even if the path to becoming stronger was rather…nightmarish in and of itself. He could suck up his fears and push forward in a war torn future where he had died. Waking up in his own coffin was traumatizing for a fourteen year old middle school student but Tsuna persevered. He worked to put on a smile for his friends while silently carrying the heavy weight of guilt and his misgivings. Even learning that his death had been planned couldn’t completely dispel his apprehension, but he trained and became stronger to defeat Byakuran. Tsuna knew he had changed over the course of his training and various mishaps that often culminated into pure chaos, but as he stood and faced the man who created the root of his problems, he felt like the No Good Tsuna he had been in the early days before and just after Reborn’s appearance. Looking into those sunset colored eyes, Tsuna could only feel resentment. Because of this man, he had to watch as his friends fought and hurt and bled. Because of this man, he had to take another’s life at the young age of fourteen. Byakuran may have been a cold hearted murderer himself, but the fact remained that Tsuna took the white-haired man’s life. His X Burner may have left only ashes in the destructive wake, but he could still feel the blood staining his hands, cold and wet and disgusting. No matter how many times he washed his hands or scrubbed himself raw in the bath, Tsuna couldn’t tear away the heavy weight pulling him down with guilt and regrets and suppressed anger. Returning home had been bittersweet because he felt as though he had let his mother down in some way he could not name. Byakuran is still alive in this time. He knew that logically but the blood only he could see and feel were still there. Because one day, he may have to face Byakuran again and cover his hands with the same blood all over again. And this time, there would be no going back to the past. It would be a reality he could not escape from, and Tsuna could only pray and hope and wish for that possibility to never occur. And it all started with this man. If only things had been different… If only he had never created the Vongola Family… If only he had never moved to Japan… If only he were not Tsuna’s ancestor… If only… If only wishes were feathers…Tsuna would have enough to create wings to escape the chains that bound him to Vongola. But, he knew Reborn would never allow that. The infant hit man would sooner shoot him down than allow Tsuna to break free, and it was all this man’s fault. Vongola Primo. Giotto. His great-great-great grandfather. As they faced each other in the world within the Vongola Sky Ring, Tsuna could not help but blame this ghost whose shadow he could not escape from. What right did his ancestor have to force upon Tsuna a legacy that Giotto had not been able to accomplish? It wasn’t fair. |
