This is one of my favorite Sess/Kag stories, seriously this is my second or third time, and counting, reading it all over again. Absolutely love your characterization of the couple, both of them are perfectly framed without the usual dramatics most of Sess/Kag stories present. Truly a fresh breeze, I could only hope for another of your work!

It was really good!

I've re-read this three times. It's awesome. Amazing how you built up a great story all while they're trapped in a frickin cave! And in such a short story too! You managed to create a believable story around their budding romance and resulting in a cute pup! I can so see this as a much longer three-shot story. It would be lovely and interesting to see Sesshomaru (and the pup) in Kagome's world as she finishes her education and they both strengthen/train up. Ended by them going back to feudal era to get rid of Naraku, and settle in as Lord/Lady of the West!

I know it's a long shot as this is marked as a Complete story, but I'm really hoping you'll come back to this to add to it. Thanks so much for sharing :)

I have re-read this story and am unsure if I have already commented on this but here I go anyway. Personally, I thought that Kagome wouldn't be someone to find the sterility of her friends amusing. Also, I would have thought that Sesshoumaru would have caused more damage in that prison in an effort to get out, you said that the barrier would keep things in but not let them out...So, where does the water go? I figure with the kind of character Sesshoumaru has he would make a way out. Kagome was kind of blase about the demise of her best friend not to mention the rest of her group.
Why did they seem surprised when she had such a short pregnancy? I would have thought that within those 2 months that she would have grown big very quickly, I would also think that both she and the child would have been undernourished since she was already lacking from being imprisoned and babies take their nutrition from their mothers and having a pregnancy that lasted 2 months I would think that it would have had to have taken all the nutrients it needed at super speed, faster than a human could replenish.
On to another subject, Naraku locks them in there without bothering to check on them or spy on them with Kanna's mirror, really? and then when they finally get out Sesshoumaru doesn't do anything about it. No, bringing him hell...? No "Vengence is mine!"? Instead, they go straight for the well...hmm...ok...
That being said I did enjoy reading this story. It felt believable that the two of them could fall in love. Sesshoumaru seemed especially lovable in this story

I adore this story too! Sess and Kag in their own world and growing their feelings for each other... it would be nice to see Sess in Kag's world too... Thanks for sharing!

This story is short and sweet but cute and I love it though I wished you would have wrote Kahome's family's reaction to her absense and new status other than that I have no complaints kudos to you.
