correction.. they'd die when making two and just one exhausts academy students when they make a kage bunshin. some even die at one #Sakura. it's a B-rank Kinjutsu after all. actually.. scratch that. the moment they are capable of doing a kage bunshin is when thy die attempting it. Think about it... it's a B-rank jutsu. sure it's supposed to halve your reserves... it only works when you have enough chakra for at the very least 2 b rank jutsu. any lower and you die. and as you can see. academy students don't have that chakra. get your facts straight.
