| JR chapter 7 . 9/8/2019 i know its old story but still, pranking not killing right why not, its light and funny, not to mention much less cliche than 99% of fan fiction, so so far all in all good and entertaining story but the reconciliation with Hermione is what makes it feel quite off. even if she disagreed with and argued against Harrys continuing imprisonement, she did agree and been initially supportive of his short term stay in Azkaban, cos apparently week or month in prison, being cold, hungry, with dementors and thinking everyone abandoned you is something that friends normally do to their friends, you know manipulation and conspiring behind ones back, a bit of psychological torture and starvation is no biggie and deffo nothing what can permanently damage friendship( i noticed she didnt even aplogized to him when she met him, she went right to lecturing and judging him again as nothing happened in the intervening years when she never even visited him once) im sorta afraid to continue reading cos if thats the pattern how he deals with more ppl who let him rot in prison then hes really like really insane, even inhumane in fact( cos such behaviour defies what we know about human nature and emotions and makes him appear more alien than house elves) and it spoils otherwise enjoyable story. |
