Guest chapter 19 . 5/4 . -san Aren’t you reading a bit too much in to it? Where did you see the author demonizing Ami? Throughout the whole fic I only seem her being describe as insensitive and maybe a little arrogant. And where did you see them ‘beating her’ up? The only thing they did as revenge was just to one up her in the competition with her own creation. I think all Kyoko did was just shown the same old lesson every kid should know. Rather than the outer appearance, it is what’s on the inside that counts. And if you somehow claim that ‘oh Kyoko is using her flames, that’s cheating’. Well since Ami won the sewing competition because of her talent, then at the same time you could argue that the Ability to use sun flames is Kyoko’s talent. After all not everyone is born with that ability, just like not everyone is born with the same amount of talent. And if I heard that ‘oh it’s cause Kyoko is one of the main character that why’ argument. Then I’ll present my arguments right now, and explain that the usage of flames is directly correspond to your will. Kyoko wanted to win the competition for Haru and that manifested itself unconsciously. She didn’t even know she used her flames. Not to mention since usage of flame is linked to will and determination, then I think that Ami not able to manifest flame is reasonable. She is described as perfect, amazing, and so talented. She view everything almost apathetically. She’s been praised like this by the adult that she subconsciously view herself as superior. Which I can understand and could say it’s not totally her fault she thinks that way. But it is because of that mindset that she will never felt the need or the will to prove something, because she believed that everything she does is already perfect. So summarizing that long rant, did Kyoko beat her up? Obliviously no, she just gave her a metaphorical wake up slap. Is it petty? Yes it is but remember as well, Ami and Satsuki could be insensitive as you argued because they are kids, but so is Tsuna and co. They are kids and they’re just mad that their friend got hurt. Yes, Haru is overthinks too much, but who doesn’t at that age. She never blames them directly nor did she ask Tsuna to take revenge for her. All she did was bottled up her emotions too much. |

ChaoticInscriber chapter 11 . 3/29 I just realized (after reading this how many times before?) that in effect, what Kyoya's done is not only muck about with things as he has himself, but caused a near-complete swap in the twin-Mist Origin! Instead of Mukuro saving Nagi/Chrome, Chrome/Nagi has saved Mukuro. With them both well aware of it all being thanks to Kyoya to boot. Utter sis-con, indeed. None of that "Mukuro-sama" obsession, all the "Darling Nagi-chan", and sassy little shit he may be but he's gonna be the one utterly adoring this time around, wow. I knew things would be different since the first time I read this story as it published, but that particular full swap hadn't quite clicked until just now. I can't wait for the Mukuro-tachi to arrive in person to get properly adopted~! *cackles* Kyoya has to find out about some of what's been happening with his Mists eventually, right? I wanna see~! (Regardless of everyone else's intents and opinions, once Yuna finds out that Nagi's Flame Overload issues were a side effect of just how incredibly compatible the pair are and Mukuro's immense distress at the time(s) -plus little Nagi's stubborn resolve to help him- she's going to either want to kill him or claim him as Nagi's long lost twin! Since Nagi certainly won't want her buddy-Mist to die /again/ and even Kyoya would only want to let him get thoroughly scared in warning so he respects the importance of Listening To Mama Hibari rather than actually dead... Adoption Ahoy! XD ) |
ChaoticInscriber chapter 7 . 3/29 She is Kyoya's Mom and Fon's sister, of course she is a badass. |
Just.Call.Me.Poison chapter 18 . 3/21 do you realize how messed up it is to want to beat someone up just for being more talented? this girl has given us absolutely no reason to hate her and its frustrating to see you demonize her for doing what children her age normally do. if someone doesn't want to be friends with you then it's not a crime to refuse a friendship and you saying otherwise is pretty messed up. Haru was to one that kept harassing them after she was already rejected. "no means no" you can't just force a friendship. so I can see why they would call her annoying. it just seems like Haru is the one who is insecure to take normal innocent opinionated comments, if a bit insensitive, that children at that age normally tend to make as threats, which is exactly the reason they didn't want to be friends with her, you don't want a toxic friend like that bringing you down. and trust me some people just can't be fixed and they stay insecure their entire lives. |
Nemhain2009 chapter 19 . 3/18 Cute chapter! |
