Lots of random life stuff getting in the way... but that's boring! Who wants to hear about personal life details? FanFiction is for fiction, not autobiographies.

Those ToT edits ARE happening... slowly... I'm about 1/3 done. (They aren't great edits, but at least they'll be something!) (And I haven't made any more edits since June... I'll get on that at some point)

Undertale and Gravity Falls are two not-so-guilty pleasures...

I also kind of lied about there not being any updates to stories while I was editing ToT...
I'm Undertale trash. Sue me for plotting out an entire new story that I intend on writing probably before completing any more edits on ToT. Look out for the new story Temporary Permanence.

About Me

Sooooooo...

I've been on fanfiction for about 5 years, and now there's some writing here. It's mostly just notes about various stories that I'm working on/need some work. I hope you aren't expecting a lot of quick updates from any of my stories, because that isn't going to happen. I'm kind of blunt, sorry about that.

Also, I'm Canadian. We add the letter "u" to various words that Americans don't. Favourite. Neighbour. Behaviour. Colour. Labour. These are not spelled wrong. I've had no complaints yet, but I'm not going to change my spelling. In my country, that would be incorrect. I am also not French Canadian. My "re's" and "er's" will be in the right place. Don't worry. ;)

Je parle un petit Français, mais mon abilité n'est pas bien. Mon niveau de lire est bien meilleur que mon niveau de parler. Mon liste de favourites inclure les fanfictions (juste deux jusqu'ici) en Français aussi. Je préfere de parler en Anglais, mais, si vous souhaitez parler avec moi en Français, je comprend beaucoup de vocabulaire simple. Je m'excuse pour mon mauvais Français. L'Anglais est mon premier langue! Neuvième année Core French d'Ottawa est seulement si bon! Ne vous inquétez pas! Je nécrirai jamais en Français! Ever! Promise! These few sentences were difficult enough to type out. =P

Funny story, I just wrote a paper for one of my classes. The paper had specific instructions to be written in formal English. Nearly all of my references were in French. =P I learned how to use the CMS keyboard without reference (my computer keyboard doesn't tell me here the French letters are) a couple of weeks before it was due because I had to write so many accents and things in the citations, quotes, and footnotes. The keyboard itself actually makes a lot of sense... in some cases, even more sense than the American English keyboard... Hmm... (I accidentally ended up writing the entirety of ToT chapter 36 on the CMS keyboard... oops)

Also, I don't use pairings. Ever. Not my thing. I don't know how to write a romance. The closest you'll get is hints at implied canon pairings.

In other news, my runescape account now has level 103 firemaking (virtual levels beyond mastery!) and level 99 woodcutting... And a cooking mastery... My lowest f2p skills are level 65... I really have no life. =P

IF YOU ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT MY LIFE: Hey, I'm 1 week on T now! And in about 2 weeks I'm moving out of my parents' house for good (finally)! Huzzah! Time to be a real adult!

Notes about the Stories

Kingless (Sept. 6 2011) (Rewritten Dec. 28/29 2014)

My first work, written all in one night. Needed some major editing. I FINALLY DID IT! (It's still not great, but whatevs) It kept more or less the same story. Still not a huge fan of Haruhi's or Kyouya's chapters, but I've never been any good at writing anything that wasn't pure angst (perhaps with a little friendship mixed in). That being said, it looks much better now. There should be fewer grammar and spelling errors. I apologize for any that still exist, but I tried writing them on my tablet. It wasn't very cooperative about spelling and fixing things, so I tried to catch what I could in the editing stage. I hope it's better received this time by anyone who's interested in reading it.

I Am Who I Am (Jul. 13 2012)

Nice little angsty Renton fic. Wrote it off the top of my head while I was in the middle of a chapter 13 of ToT... I really should focus on one story at a time, but meh, that would be boring.

Sunlight, Moonlight (Aug. 24 2012)

Needs some major revision, but there aren't a lot of Kare Kano fans out there, so I might not bother. We'll see how much my brain bothers me about it not being quite as good as I want it to be. Actually, I don't even like the fic, and it doesn't even make sense. It will probably be taken down eventually, if not completely replaced. Just don't bother reading it.

Test of Time (Apr. 30 2012 - )

NOT ON HIATUS! IF IT SEEMED LIKE IT, IT WAS UNINTENTIONAL. I'M SORRY! IT WILL CONTINUE, AND IT WILL EVENTUALLY BE FINISHED, I PROMISE! I DON'T BREAK PROMISES, EVER!

ALSO, I'M REWRITING AND REPOSTING ALL OF THE CHAPTER THAT I POSTED PRE-2014. WHICH IS MOST OF THEM. I WON'T BE WRITING ANY NEW CHAPTERS UNTIL I FIX THE ABOMINATION THAT IS MY OLD WRITING.

Currently working on it. It's a big one, and honestly, I don't think I've thought it out very well, but I do enjoy writing it. I don't want it to be one of those stereotypical high school drama fics, or angsty, cutting, whatever. I personally don't like fics that portray serious issues without any tact. It becomes offensive. I try not to do that, but I understand that some people may feel this way anyways. In this work, Allen has issues, yes, but they aren't issues that are impossible to overcome or impossible to put on the backburner for a while after some practice. (Don't worry, it'll be getting to that point soon enough) This story is meant to show that while some people do have these problems, and that these problems may affect their behaviours and various other things, these problems do not and will not control their whole life. They can still do other things, be who they want, it just might take time, and these people might need some roundabout way full of detours to get there. Either way, it still happens. If anyone can relate, I'm both glad and sad. If the message gets across clearly, I'll be even happier.

On another note, I know that there are lots of small details that appear to have some meaning that are never actually resolved later. That is because that is how life works. Not everything you do is significant forever, and things lose meaning over time. Something that seems all important at one moment in time might be forgotten completely once an appropriate time to use said information approaches. That's the way life works. I also did my best to emulate thought processes and language at various ages. Hopefully that worked out well.

Don't Tell Me To Stop (Apr. 26 2013 - Aug. 27 2014)

I am trying to take a serious look at cutting and different effects that it has on various parties involved. Yes, this is a serious issue, and I intend to take it seriously, unlike other works that I've seen on this site (I'm not trying to bash the other works!). I use Rin's POV in first person because, for me, it will get the message across more clearly if we can see right into his head. For anyone who thinks that this might be OOC, it probably is. Rin's just the one with most angst so far, so he's the one I picked. In this fic, I try to get the cutter's POV (Rin), friends - each with different levels of experience in the area of self harm, not restricted to cutting - POV, and finally the POV of someone who hasn't self harmed before, but may begin to (Rin [flashbacks or thoughts or whatever] and Yukio) and each having completely different reasons. I also try to show a little bit about how to help, understand, get along with, or deal with (depending on your personal opinion) someone you might know who engages in this habit. Like Shima says in Chapter 12, "we can't get it because we haven't been on your side." I've only been on one side, so I can only definitely accurately portray the one side. Based on experience though, I can take some guesses at the other side, use my imagination, and try to see it through another's eyes. I hope it's working. If the moral of this story gets through to anyone, then my mission is accomplished.

I'm sad to see this fic complete. It's been a good ride, and it's a bittersweet feeling to have my first long multichapter fic finished (Kingless doesn't count. I wrote it all in one day and it wasn't very long). The genre and characters have been updated to include more than just Angst and Rin. By the way, did anyone notice the parallelism in chapters 1 and 29?

Broken Promises (May 4 2014)

Just a random one-shot that came to me as I waited all day for something that would never come. The first time I've published more than one story under the same fandom. Enjoy!

You Get It? (Nov. 6 2015 - )

A Hetalia fanfic inspired by another one that I have read about England and Latvia. The three main characters (England, Latvia, and Japan) are for the first person who voted in the APH poll on my profile. These are the three characters that (s)he/they picked, so this one is for you, anonymous fanfic reader!

It is similar to my Blue Exorcist fic DTMTS in that it covers topics such as self harm. This story, however, actually has a plan from the beginning, kind of mostly-ish, so it should be a little more organized. Also, for those who have read DTMTS, the plot will not be the same. No self harm story is the same, and no two people will deal with the same issue(s) in the same manner. My goal with this story is to highlight the fact that self harm includes a wide range of behaviours and personalities, and that no one can be compared, since no one has the same problems, even if they are outwardly similar or completely different in some respects. And that it is never too late to start to help yourself love yourself.

Broken Hearts (Jan. 31 2016)

There are two sequels to the story "Broken Promises." Each one shows the reactions of the different characters in Blue Exorcist to Rin's suicide (attempt). Take it as it is, and by all means, if you have eyour own preferred ideas as to how it should have turned out, don't take my word as law! These are just ideas of things that could have happened. After being bugged for a couple of years, I finally made these sequels. They were unintended and not all that great, but hey, they happened.

Temporary Permanence (Jul. 5 2016 - )

So I actually wrote out the entire plot for this story before beginning to write it. Never done that before. It's just too... Organized.

Anyways, I am jumping head first into the Undertale trash pile with this one. Starring my favourite character: THE GREAT PAPYRUS. And angst. Papyrus angst just makes me all squiggly inside. It's going to be about 12 chapters of exploring characters, mostly Papyrus and some Frisk. This is all based on a couple of headcanons, so take from it what you will.

Not much more to write here... You know how I write by now. This will be, in ways, similar to DTMTS and YGI? but different, of course, because it's Undertale and not AnE or APH. Betcha y'all never thought you'd see a fluffy self harm fic. =P (P.S. I never say "y'all.")

Notes for Future Stories

Danny Phantom Fic#1 (Title TBD)

Three sentence summary: Danny is self-harming and/or suicidal. Vlad notices and tries to pull him out of this funk. Don't know how the rest goes, but Danny lives, and likely will end similarly to DTMTS.

This plot bunny has been simmering in the back of my head since the summer when I read one (or a lot) of Cordria's and ghostanimal's fics. Fantastic stories, by the way. Check them out! It was a bit of an inspiration, and I decided that I wanted to write a fic with similar ideas to one of them. Feel free to make title suggestions (you'll be credited!).

Danny Phantom Fic#2 (Title? A Mother's Eyes)

I was reading a fic by another author who said that the fic was part of a challenge by ghostanimal. The challenge goes like this: Danny is self-harming and Maddie catches him as Phantom. Danny is depressed, Danny is not allowed to be exposed, and Maddie has to change her attitude from cruel to motherly over the course of the fic.

I really enjoy fics like these, and there are a lot of Phantom/Maddie family bonding fics. As you can probably tell by my other works, SH is kind of what I write about. That and angst. I think that a prompt like this has a lot of potential, and the fic I read almost seemed to short to tap into the all of the thick angsty goodness covered in sappy love and family/friendship (my favourite type of ice cream sundae). Don't get me wrong, it was an awesome fic, written well, but just too short (in my opinion, at least). I'd like to see what I could do with this sort of prompt and go wherever it takes me. Also, title suggestions are welcome (you'll be credited!).

This has been slightly in the works for a year or so, but it was one of those that I started writing, got interrupted, and haven't come back to yet. Maybe some day I'll finish writing that first chapter.

Yugioh Fic#1 (Not happening)

I've always had to wonder how it is that ancient spirits from Egypt can suddenly speak perfect Japanese. Or English. Or Brooklyn. It would be my attempt at writing humour, mocking some concepts, the 4kids dub, LittleKuriboh/CardGamesFTW, and just a whole bunch of messing around. It shouldn't end up as a crack!fic. I just can't be that illogical. It would probably be a short series of short one-shots. (Maybe 3-5 chapters total, about 1K words each. I'm of the opinion that a story should be at least 1000 words.) Title suggestion are very welcome (you will be credited!).

Who am I kidding? I can't write humour. Someone else feel free to use the idea, though!

Yugioh Fic#2 (Title TBD)

Another SH fic, this would be centered around Yugi and Ryou. It's hard being a light/hikari when the darks/yamis get all of the attention. Something along those lines, anyways. Title suggestions are welcome (you will be credited!).

Teen Titans Fic (Idea TBD)

Someday I'll get an idea. I'm very fond of Robin/BB friendships, though.

APH Angst Fic(s) (Oh do I have ideas! Titles TBD)

Not a lot of ideas, but if someone wants to suggest characters, I'll make something work. =) I just really want to write something for this series.

There will probably be GerIta friendship, Canada friendship, South Italy friendship, Britain friendship, Prussia friendship, and if I'm feeling especially daring, Russia and/or Latvia friendship. (They will all be friendship/angst, probably) Eventually. That's like, eight stories at least. Maybe in the summer... Maybe.

APH Friendship Fic (Title TBD)

A collection of oneshots centred around nations giving other nations hugs. Any title ideas or recommended (friendship!) pairings are welcome. You will be credited.

The characters in the above post will all definitely appear at some point. Or various points.

APH Canadian Historical Fic (Collab project, title TBD)

Working with 1overcosc and FanimeScribbler, we are creating a parody of Canadian history by fleshing out the provinces and territories as we see them. After an hour or so, the ideas are booming. Look forward to it, you will. Eventually... School is a thing... Summer maybe...?
