Hello everyone,

So I was recently made aware that someone has taken Casting Rain and is selling it on Amazon Prime for a profit.

Firstly, I'd like to clarify this person isn't me, and they've ripped off several other writers [all of whom were contacted for additional information].

Secondly, I'd like to reiterate that I under no way, shape or form condone the reuploading and reselling of my work, especially Casting Rain, since I intend on editing it into an original piece for publication. Formally publishing the work in it's current state will complicate this process.

Finally, after undergoing the research for the takedown request I had to file, it's become increasingly obvious all the works were stolen directly from Fanfiction dot net, as all the works uploaded are present on this site but only a few of them have presence elsewhere. This seems intentionally done and focused around fanfiction's legendary negligence and absence when it comes to the rights and protections of the works uploaded here, and is the final nail in the coffin for me as a creator as it comes to my trust in this site.

This notice is to let you know that I will soon be permanently leaving the platform. For now the account must remain in place in case I need additional information for my takedown request, but as soon as it clears, this account will no longer be necessary and will be deleted.

If you enjoy my work and wish to continue following it, I have an incredibly active Tumblr account under this same username: Silverskye13. I also upload all of my work to Archive Of Our Own, which does have protections in place for authors, and a helpful legal team for bullshit such as this. You do not have to have an account on there to read and comment, and honestly the system over there is much nicer anyway.

It has been a pleasure getting to write for you all over the past years. I hope to see you all again in a much friendlier and more welcoming space. If not, I hope life treats you well, and you find many other authors and stories like mine to enjoy!
