I just stumbled across this story. Your writing is absolutely hysterical, I love it! Do you ever have trouble turning it off? I find that when I try writing I end up with nothing but sarcasm. You seem to have delivered just the right amount for me to enjoy the humour while still getting invested in the characters.

Somehow reading this makes me want Rigel/Harry to embrace her Marauder heritage for on heist, planting some kind or manner of potion or charm in the drink or food of Professors Snape and McGonagall which makes them kiss each other (probably a chaste, French kiss - there are minors around, particularly in the Great Hall!).

It would end with a finale of Gryffindor fireworks at the Slytherin table and Slytherin fireworks among the Gryffins, and switch the colour robes (this might require subtly asked for assistance from established pranksters - *cough* Weasleys *cough* - of the warring houses.

The twins would suspect her but be unable to prove that it was her because she was /merely/ enquiring about spells to change the colour of robes! And thus would end the Great Prank War of '91.

Just because in this one there's no prophecy or curse scar doesn't mean /we/ can't pretend she slipped in the bathroom and got a lightning scar once!~ Maybe it happened at school! That would be in keeping with the Song of the Lioness theme right?

Amazing. Read through in one go. I know I've missed stuff and commenting, but I'll have to come back and go through slower because I MUST read the sequel now.

I found this because of the name Rigel.
I have an almost 2 year old son named Rigel Daniel and as soon as I saw the name Rigel Black I was sold. But I found it in a Drabble based off “link” and that one linked my back to here.

Well. I have tried starting this story several times before, but never made it far. I should have persevered. This story is just as good as everyone always seems to say on reddit. It looks like all the sequels are much longer than this one. I've got a lot of reading to do in the future.

I've got nothing really to say, besides the fact that Harry and Archie believing that they can make the subterfuge last 7 years is laughable and shows the naivety of the 11 year-olds that they are. I hope Harry makes friends with Sirius's baby snake.

I realised something. When their identities are revealed (and it's. When and not an if), I feel like Sirius would be the first one to laugh and said that this was a huge prank that they have pulled off. Think about it, hiding your identities from your friends AND families. Obviously, Sirius would be mad but I think he'll be much more impressed that they had pulled this off (somewhat) successfully.

I like it very much. I shall go on to read the sequels. I dont presume to tell you how to write your story, however...I feel more on the gender thing should be touched on. Also the permanent gender change potion? Or at least maybe a memory locket to swap with the real rigel?
