10th Squad 3rd Seat chapter 1 . 5/7/2015 Goddammit the feels are hard in this! Make me cry why don't you? On another note, this is most definitely fantastic! |
Guest chapter 1 . 7/22/2013 Absolutely Brilliant! |
denise3 chapter 1 . 2/25/2013 Lovely! |
thechamelioncircuit chapter 1 . 1/24/2013 I loved this Who is the only show I know of where talking to yourself is perfectly all right. Molto Bene! |
Inkfire chapter 1 . 10/30/2012 This was pretty fascinating, I really like the idea of the Doctors being able to discuss that way - I mean, I imagine that's a pretty seductive idea around the fandom, but you made it actually believable, and showed that it was really quite a bitter moment to go through, not just "yay, meeting the former me's!". You dealt with Ten's flaws and Eleven's anger quite well, both of them were very moving and believable, and I really liked the way you spoke about their various companions, everything we've been through, the losses, the pain, the arrogance, the need to save people⦠Very interesting and pretty well done. Great work! |
Verpy chapter 1 . 7/21/2012 I have no words to describe how perfect this is. |
Winnywriter chapter 1 . 4/2/2012 I loved this. A very clever idea, and very well-done. It was really interesting how angry Eleven was with Ten at first. I hadn't thought of things playing out that way, but now that you've brought it up, it actually does make a lot of sense. Great fic. :) |
Atarah Derekh chapter 1 . 1/9/2012 In the words of the Doctor, brilliant! Fantastic! I love this for two reasons. One, your exploration of the Doctor's past sins and wounds, his confrontation with his own worst enemy, and the potential for healing that comes with Eleven's incarnation. Two, your subtle defense of Matt Smith's Doctor. Very well-written, and something I could see actually being a canon short episode. In fact, they should do that specifically for the fans who are holding onto David Tennant's Doctor more stubbornly than Ten himself did. Don't get me wrong, Ten is still my favorite (mainly because the actor's Scottish and I'm biased like that), and I'll miss him. But as the Ood said, though that particular song must end, the story never ends. And so far Matt Smith has done just fine as the Doctor. The character is more important than the actor, and had Ten held on, the potential for character development would eventually have been lost. It almost was. I think Water of Mars actually averted that. Again, excellent job with this one-shot. Molto Bene! |
madis hartte chapter 1 . 1/4/2012 Brilliance. |
AlfieTimewolf chapter 1 . 1/4/2012 In the words of Jim Carrey, "B-e-a-utiful" I loved 10, David Tennant will always by my Doctor, and I definitely loved this. The Doctor trapped in his head, forced to deal with his past selves mistakes and criticism, and you did it fantastically. You should write a one-shot for the 10th Doctor, and how he deals with 9 giving him grief about losing Rose. |
MsRecDirect chapter 1 . 1/4/2012 You must have one large bottle of Tylonal next to your computer to write such a complecated ficlet. Wonderfully written btw, it just hurts my head lol. I would LOVE to see Nine and Ten dish it out with one another lol. Anyways, great story that I will add to my Favorites collection. I look forward to more stories :) |
The10thDoctorRocks chapter 1 . 1/4/2012 One Word: A-MAZ-ING I really loved this fic and I thought it wonderfully perceptive. It explored parts of the Doctor's mind which is hardly ever seen beneath his mask of happiness and joy. |
