PRESENTATION AKA MAD SPACE

Présentations, présentations, présentations... Azalaïs (Azzie), dix-neuf ans, traductrice de coeur et d'aspirations, intoxiquée de langue anglaise sans jamais en avoir vraiment assez, traductrice et correctrice débutante (et vive le bêta professionnel !!!). Vit dans sa petite bulle, voire sa grande bulle, mais ça va, elle n'est pas étanche. Aime les livres, les livres, les livres, les langues, un peu plus de livres, le soleil, la nuit, la ville, le métal (symphonique !), les histoires passionnées qui finissent bien mal, les thrillers sans violence, la psycho un peu, la philo sauf en cours, la fleur d'oranger, le théâtre, les yaourts nature, Johnny Depp, la poésie, le Japon, Amélie Nothomb, la politique, le gloss, les Sudokus, les petits oiseaux qui chantent, le tango, et puis les bouquins aussi. J'avais presque oublié. Complètement cinglée mais potentiellement très mignonne. Ecrit plus en anglais qu'en français. C'est bien dommage, on verra bien comment ça tournera. Adore Harry Potter aussi. Bellatrix Lestrange. Voir quelques lignes plus haut, c'est ça, “cinglée”. Mais inoffensive, ça c'est promis. (Endoloris – non, pardon.)

Azalais – hence Az, Azzie, Azzie-alais, Azkaban, Azzamabelle, Azzielicious, Azzaloo, whatever. Anything. Take your pick. THE CRAZY ONE, though there are plenty. Nineteen, random, mad, Death Eater whore – but doesn't bite. (I promise.) Slytherin lover in all the bitchy elegance of high-class, but actually too Hufflepuff-hearted to pull it off. Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet. Bookworm as well, as in book-book-book-book-book-languages-book-book-oh damn, eat/sleep. Or that was the picture before someone showed me how to use a computer. Anyway. Wannabe translator, just finishing a proofreading course, would very much like to spend half of my life on a stage... if only I had the skillz. (To be continued.) Languages freak, loving Japan, but not manga nor anime nor sushi – just the feel of it, and the language looked cool and complicated to learn. (watashi wa hontôni baka na desu – whatever.) Rubbish at Japanese, by the way. But lives and breathes and thinks English, though I'm a French thing. Off in my little world – you may join me there, it's colourful and fun. People twirl. I love to twirl. That's pretty much it.

WRITING

My main Harry Potter project these days is my Narcissa series, a WIP composed of two parts so far, Dustland Fairytale and Sentimental Hearts. Besides, there's the odd entry for challenges on The Dark Lord's Most Faithful Forum. Amazing place, see further down for future reference.

My main fandom these days would probably be Doctor Who, so expect mostly that =) I've also tried Sweeney Todd, Skins and His Dark Materials.

TRADUCTIONS

La petite chose qui se remarque tout de suite : je n'écris quasiment plus en français… Et c'est le moment où les pierres commencent à voler. -se baisse- oups, tiens, personne ne jette quoi que ce soit ! Blague à part - ma muse a décidé qu'être anglophone, c'était plutôt cool. J'ai posté quelques traductions, mais en ce moment, pas grand chose - j'essaie de me lancer dans le milieu, du coup le temps me manque pour le bon vieux boulot désintéressé. Je suis consciente, malheureusement, que la majorité de mes traductions sont des histoires inachevées - ça ne dépend pas de moi, mais des auteures. (Ça ne dépend plus de moi, disons. Ça dépendait de moi d'avoir l'intelligence de ne pas traduire des histoires coincées depuis des mois.)

Mes traductions :

Protège-moi et la suite Une longue route vers la perdition de la délicieuse Xx starlight-moon xX : Bellatrix rencontre le Seigneur des Ténèbres et tombe dans les bras des forces du mal, tandis que Lucius assiste à cette chute d'un air franchement effaré et que la petite Narcissa, de son côté, part en vrille très discrètement… C'est mon projet le plus long jusqu'à présent, et j'ai vraiment adoré. Fic en suspension, la connexion Internet de l'auteure rentrant dans les annales du pire.

Derrière des yeux bleus de SKINNYxLOVE, ou les pérégrinations d'une Narcissa fragile et orpheline de mère, et sa relation avec Lucius Malefoy. La fic risque d'être abandonnée, j'en suis désolée.

Le plus ravissant des appendices de Jacalyn Hyde, 3 chapitres, fic inachevée. La rencontre de Bellatrix avec Lord Voldemort.

La Radio d'echoing noise, one-shot. Harry et Ron font face aux cicatrices de la guerre.

Es solo un punto de cruz, mi querido d'Aragornevenstar4eva. One-shot, traduit de l'anglais au français, pas d'espagnol là-dedans à part le titre. Bellatrix et Rodolphus.

Des jeunes filles en robe blanche de madamedarque, one-shot, Lucius/Narcissa. Lucius à Azkaban, son enfance et sa femme.

Canevas d'oxyxrush707, one-shot, Twilight at ma première traduction. Après son retour à Forks, Edward doit faire face aux conséquences de ses actes et aux cicatrices que Bella a gardées de leur séparation.

I am mostly two things, a reviewer and a faithful reviewer.
