You really don't like Bellatrix/Lucius? It's one I tolerate, maybe I like it a little bit if it didn't get in the way of possible Bellamort or Belladolphus. But you've read Bella, Love... you know I actually like these two, but not romantically, just together, for the very reasons you mentioned here: desperation for a brief escape and all the things they share.

It is an interesting argument that being related might cause more OR less damage to their family emotionally if they were discovered. I honestly don't know, I mean it involves less people that way, but a closer group... I love that Rodolphus isn't even part of the equation. like Narcissa is because she is the relative they share closest and the one they care about most- more than each other anyway. Well done. I like it, quite a lot, actually.

I don't like this pairing at all but in this fic, it suddenly seemed to make sense to me and I found myself really enjoying your drabble.

But anyway. "Stolen kisses" actually made me giggle, it seemed almost sweet . . . it turns something so horrible into a sort of travesty. I did like the line about them sharing the shadows of Azkaban, and when they wondered if it would cause more or less hurt as they're both hurting the same person.

But, you know my feelings on Lucitrix. *rolls eyes at ship*
