I don’t know if you’ll even see this, but I just had to send this anyway. This story is brilliant, from the plot, to the characterization, to the way it was written. This is just an all-time favorite of mine. I’ve lost count of how many times I have re-read this over the years, not to mention just thinking about it between readings. This adventure stole my heart and the angst made it feel like Sweeney was slitting my heart open while the fluff and comedy were like pies for the soul. It has been years since you’ve been active on this site, but if there’s even a chance you’ll see this, then I want you to know that you are a fantastic writer. You are able to capture hearts with your writing and I wish you all the best in your life. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

Alright I am nearly positive I have reviewed this before but because it was done so years ago I feel the need to review again. For anyone with a question at all about reading this, listen to me and go for it.

This story has you entranced the entire time. It had me cry and laugh and it made me want to punch someone very very hard at times. All of that is a great accomplishment indeed when it comes to me. This is also going to be the fourth time reading this story, and though I must admit to rereading story's in the past I can honestly say I only ever do so with ones I have truly fallen in love with.
So once again thank you for writing this and I hope the times see you well and still enjoying the world of writing for you have a talent.

I like the story, but you know Toby called Mrs Lovett "ma'am" not "mum".

Just excellent. I read it in one sitting, I couldn't put it down. Suspenseful, and the characters were completely IC. The only thing I was hoping for was for her to tell him Lucy was alive so he could realize they were truly different now and move on.

Why don't they save Mrs Lovett and Johanna the same way they saved her in the movie? That's the first thing that came to my mind, but it's cool how you decided to come up with your own idea. Otherwise, it would be the same as the movie, and would probably be much shorter.

People have arguments all the Time, I can't believe they think Mrs Lovett is crazy just because of that incident!

I see you reworded that Ever After line. Haha
