Fudge he just does not get it does he. I do like the idea of an almost self fulfiling prophecy, that he starts believing it himself. I had never even realy considered him before

I like this. It's a nice portrait of Fudge, desperate and clinging to whatever delusion keeps him safe and warm in the light, while Voldemort grows stronger and the wizarding world - the one he is supposed to be guiding and guarding - withers away.
