Ah, wow! I love how you've drawn attention to all these fundamental similarities between Bellatrix and Voldemort. Their self-absorbtion, emptiness, focus on the task. And most importantly, their secret need for each other, and misunderstanding of each other's need. Gorgeous irony. My fav part would have to be, "She misses her sisters. It is her dirty little secret. She has a few."

I really liked this! The "seven" imagery especially. I think it's especially ironic (given the Death Eater's own skewed take on morality) that Bella's list of flaws reads like her personal seven deadly sins. They're the fundamentals she can't change, and loathes herself for - lust, vanity, betrayal . . . it's intruiging.

Also loved Bella dwelling on the contrast between herself and Andromeda, and the imagery at the very beginning, the parallel between Bella and her master - that neither celebrates their victory. Oddly striking, and very telling. :)
