all of canada story are the same i read many of them only a few of them outshine the others same old story you happen to be one of them even thought you story have the same plot

As someone who has dealt self harm, anxiety and suicidal intention, I feel you have captured such matters brilliantly; and created something that perfectly illustrates the struggles of mental illness, within a well-balanced story - I looking forward to reading more xx

Wow... Just wow. I remember reading this fic on a long road trip back when it was first published, but being a lowly anon, I was always to scared to review. But now thatI've found it again, I'm so excited to have done so, and that it's been updated! It's really quite amazing to see how much your prowess in writing has improved over time, and this is honestly one of my favorite Canada fics. I absolutely ADORE your characterizations of Canada and Italy-as someone who has struggled with exactly what both of them have, I think you're portraying them really well! And (as sick as it sounds aha) it seems like you've thought through your characterizations and what they all struggle with really well. Like, everything makes sense. They all flow with the character. Idk. It just works. I dunno how to say it but it's great and you clearly did your research! Also, the way you show all the other characters looking in on this-Alfred, the well-meaning ignorant, Germany, the caring and concerned boyfriend, and so on-is done wonderfully. This is really, really a good fic, and the emotions are so real. I teared up reading this quite a few times, which is hard to make me do (with fics at least, lol). So, in conclusion, excellent job done here. And I'm so, so proud of you for overcoming! Self harm is a slippery hole that's crazy hard to climb out of, and that's so amazing if you that you've been clean for so long (if your update a few chapters back is current-of course, if not, you're still incredible, and please be strong, love!). You're amazing, please keep being strong. I'm proud of you and thankful for this fic and for you 3

This is a really sad story, but it's really good. The addiction stuff is really accurate, and you obviously did a lot of research on it. I love the family dynamics, it's really good, and I always pictured England being a very fatherly figure :). keep going, you're awesome.
