This was heartbreaking and so filled with tiny details that just make me want to hug Natsume until all the bad things have gone away. I really liked the interconnected snippets, and the theme that runs throughout. The last snippet with Nyanko-sensei felt a bit disconnected though, a bit too sudden. I would have liked to have seen a few more snippets in between that would more gently lead to the final one, but individually, they are all wonderful in their own way. Perhaps I'm just greedy and wishing this fic had been longer. Anyway, thank you for writing this, and I do hope you write more.
