Oh heart. I enjoyed this; I think Kyouya's reactions at this point in his life are true. He has an excellent support system around him to catch whatever he can't handle and that's wonderful.

Thank you for writing Tamaki seriously; I love seeing him protective here.

Very nice. I have never had something quite like what happened to Kyouya happen to me, but I relate to his reaction to trauma very much, so be assured that you realistically handled that. Other than that, characters were very well done, and you had am interesting plot.

Love the story. I've actually been looking for a story like this. You captured Kyouya perfectly. His reactions are good, wish they were a bit worse, but it's fine. I like how his family reacted, though I wished I could have see all of them interact with him. The actions of the Host club were also good, especially Huney offering to teach them self-defense.
Your writing style is good, but you need to remember dialog. It almost seamed like you put it in as an afterthought.

Just wanted to stop in after reading this and tell you how incredibly wonderful it is. The realism in the story and your characters, as well as how Kyouya dealt with the attack, was phenomenal. I feel like I just went on a trip.

Another awesome chapter! I liked Kyouya's father's reflections on all of his children and I could really tell he stumped Kyouya at the end. Tamaki was so cute at the end - I can not wait for the final chapter! Please update soon!

BUT! I had to run and review this one because it was so gooooood. Maybe I'm biased because I love Tamaki and Kyouya and the two of them being adorable together, and gosh were they precious in this chapter, but I loved it I loved it so much. Loved Tamaki telling those things to Kyouya, loved Kyouya sort of (finally) understanding what Tamaki had to say-though he still needs to open up more to both his family and friends, but of course that may be quite hard for him. Ugh Kyouya come here let me snuggle you.

Also! Noooo this fic is nearly completion whyyyy-but that is such a very good thing! I was sad yet happy to read that because i do want to have this story closed and complete, there's nothing more satisfactory than that 3

I kept forgetting to review this! Gosh is it amazing. I found this while browsing the TamaKyou section and was curious about it and then I got to the point where I was really worried about what was going to happen (because you can deduce) but I couldn't. stop. reading. This fic is so good. This is a subject I usually don't touch with a ten-foot pole, but the way you narrate it makes it enjoyable and entrancing. I can't stop. I love your treatment of the characters as well, but mostly, I have to say: THANK YOU FOR YOUR YOSHIO. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. Thank you for writing him as a human being and not this horrible monster!1 fandom thinks he is. I mean I don't mind the occasional (good) fic with Yoshio as sort of antagonistic, but it's always all like that and people seem to forget that he's not actually.. that horrible? Yes, he's a terrible father in the way he pushes his sons and in how cold he can be, but man, he's not a horrible person. He has his moments. And I really appreciate having a caring, worrying Yoshio in a context like this. I totally understand why it shocked Kyouya so much because you don't expect him to be, but he cares, even if he doesn't always show it. So thank you thank you.

And gosh, I had thought of this review so many times after reading it and now I'm just a rambling mess. But I am really hooked and I hate you for that omg, because it has me wanting to know more and more and I just want to reach out and hug kyouya and/or make tamaki hug kyouya for me forever. I don't even care if this doesn't end up being tamakyou or if it was never supposed to be one or idk. Because I love this story the way it is, the way you're writing it and just keep on doing your thing, because it's amazing.
