The way Pearl is portrayed in the actual show like in the flashbacks in "We Need to Talk", leaves me wondering what is the rest of the story between Pearl, Rose, and Greg; before Steven's birth. It is obvious from most episodes that Pearl cares for Steven maternally, but holds no unexplained level of hostility to Greg. Nevertheless, I think you captured Pearl's and Steven's characters perfectly. |
