The Dark Lord Knows Not is now officially Abandoned. I have written 3 and a bit of the next chapters but they will now never see the light of day, I have lost the motivation in order to continue writing, its very time consuming as any aspiring amateur of an author will tell you. I will leave it up as a reminder to myself that I at least attempted to write a story (as much as a failure that attempt now is) and that when I critique another authors writing I do so from the vantage point of someone who has been in that author's position once, and also that a flame is never acceptable - no matter how many flowery terms I coach it in.

If anyone would like to adopt it and make it their own, mayhaps make it so much better, then by all means do so. Harry Potter is a fandom for everyone, I didn't own the original writings so there's no possible way I can claim ownership for characters I've borrowed from the original author.

Thank you to those that have been with me for these long years and have kept emailing me and asking when there would be an update. I apologise if my replies have been misleading. Maybe one day I'll decide to finish it, but I cannot see that day from the clouds, especially with my schedule the way it is now. I have enough time to enjoy the writings of other authors, but not enough time to write my own.
