SapphireSecret chapter 1 . 9/26/2016 Hahahahahahahaaaahahahahaohmygosh. So silly. So fun. I love it. So, I'm imaging this Missing Village wandering north, fixing up villages they pass for food and housing. Things like ninjutsuing up irigation cannals for crops, fixing barn roofs, killing the bandits camping out in the woods by their main trade route and choking off their supplies. The mere image of how -outclassed- the bandits would be is, on its own, hilarious. In three days they've made it to the land of Rice (I think that's where Oto is?) and are swooping down and pwning Orochimaru's various hideouts. Naruto doesn't make the plans, he knows he's surrounded by people more capable of strategizing than himself, but does approve them and delegate. He's become the defacto Missing-Kage. Five hideouts later, they find the current main base. They wreck Orochimaru. They wreck (and capture!) Sasuke. Naruto uses their strength-in-numbers and excellent teamwork as an illustration of True Strength and the value of the Will of Fire. Sasuke is stubborn, but there are hints that he is considering Naruto's words. Abruptly directionless, the Missing Village's victorious revelry winds down into awkward silence as they consider what to do next. Everyone stares at Naruto. He suggests a visit to Suna. Seeing Gaara would be nice. Maybe they'll be able to catch Tsunade. If not, they could send a messenger bird from Suna to Konoha. Now that they've accomplished their objective, they should probably see if they'll be allowed back home, or else see about starting their own village proper. Maybe in the old Uzushiogakure... |
