I'm screaming. This is honest to god one of the best doctor/rose fics I've read. You did such a good job on this story, I loved every moment of it.

I got really into this one. it was completely brilliant. Putting this in my Best Of folder. Wow... the emotion and details were phenomenal. Even glad you touched on dark doctor. What you did with Rose was something I havent really seen before in fics and it was so creative! Amazing job! PS even though ni kiss i didnt feel you needed it, we all know they will get there. The fluff and confessions wrre so detailed and more meaningful than kissing. Thanks for making it more than just attraction and her being hot. You wrote that the doctor said he wanted to essentially worship her and show her how much he loves her and thats so much better than lust. Lust just isnt really him. Fantastic choices you made in this fic

Best chapter thus far. Damn that was powerful and beautifully written. That fight between the two of them...shite...You win, you gave me the feels. The doctor's transition of annoyance to disbelief and jealousy to anger and repulsion to admittance and resolve was oh so fantastic.

Ok so right off the bat I have to say this is NOT in any shape or form a Rated M fic, in fact it could probably be rated PG13. This story was really well written though I think the Doctor's reaction when he finds Rose... temporarily.. deceased was just waaaayy too calm. I get that he was proly in denial but i was expecting a much stronger reaction from the Oncoming Storm, especially after all the pain and suffering Rose had gone through. And then after all that, NO KISS! cries I kept hoping for the RATED M to kick in but it never did and that I think was the greatest loss to this story, that we didn't get any of that and we NEEDED it because of all the great angst you fed us. Must have lemony closure on this :) Otherwise, great and enjoyable read. Thanks for sharing it!

Such a great story! Well written, funny, angsty and great character dialogue. My only problem was your time line in that it's been 2 weeks since the Doctor has seen Rose and there's just no way that he would have ever let that much time go by without eventually speaking to her personally, but I understand you were wanting to drag a little time, and Mickey! OMG Best scene Mickey ever had in a fanfic was right here! Brilliant! Loved how he and the doctor went at it, and Mickey said everything I wanted to scream at the doctor! lol. Great, great story! And when the doctor finally does see Rose again!? I am looking forward to the wrath of that oncoming storm!

Awwwwww. I really enjoyed this fanfic and I'm glad that I found it on a rec list, it was well worth the read. At first I really wondered where you were going with it but then you did such a great job with the idea of the Empaths and the complexity and uniqueness of their world and how Rose became the perfect Hope, quite literally! I loved the stand off between Mickey and the Doctor and how Mickey told him about Jimmy Stone and how much he cares about Rose and her worth in order to force the Doctor past his own fears and admit how much he loved her. It was a vicious way to break her but I loved how the people finally rose up in arms for her and the Doctor swept in. The way you portrayed his feral anger and grief broke my heart and poor Mickey and Jack too. Loved how the TARDIS managed to fix things in the end. And that scene in the med bay where she tells him she has his memories and then later after she wakes up and he tells her why he stole the arch and that he wanted to give her a CHOICE and would've been willing to change for her, those scenes really hit me. You did a great job with the ending too, leaving it on a note where they're still healing but are moving forward together. Thanks for writing this!

Ended up being a really good story. Was not surprised Reinette did what she did but was worried about Rose for a bit. And THANK YOU for bringing Jack into this! Oh I miss that seeing that man in the Tardis!

This was gorgeous! I somehow missed this on TSP but found it here. I love your characterization of Mickey, the Doctor's heartbreak, the TARDIS, of course, basically everything. Even (especially?) the end with Reinette.

Okay, can I just say-I was absolutely blown away by this story. It was absolutely amazing. I feel like you really showed the characters correctly. (Except maybe Reinette-but we all wanted to hate her) i loved it and am just-wow.
