![]() Author has written 9 stories for Vampire Diaries, and Inuyasha. UPDATE: Apr 20, 2020 Greetings everyone who finds their way here! I just wanted to let you all know that I am trying to post my chapters again, even though I still haven't had my hand surgeries. I have some friends helping me out with the writing, and hopefully I'll be able to post new chapters more consistently in the coming months. I hope you are all staying safe and sane out there! Sending you all much love! Lady p. Hi there! I've been reading fanfic for prolly longer than I want to admit, have had a couple different accounts over the years I've lost or forgotten, but this is the one that I'll proly end up sticking with from here on out. I only ever started on FanFic because i fell in love with the InuYasha series (before that it was Sailor Moon! Hell-o tuxedo mask, lol) but InuYasha was what drew me into this world. I do however ship Kouga/Kagome for years now, I just think Kouga was a million times sweeter with Kagome, and would have treated her like a queen. The MAJOR DIFFERENCE you'll find in my writing, is that I RARELY ever write InuYasha as a bad guy to get my couple together (and I probably never will). In fact, I kind of have a bro-mance thing with Kouga/InuYasha. I think they would have made the *BEST OF FRIENDS!* And so more often than not, you'll see InuYasha right along side Kouga in my stories, even if they're not best pals, they will definitely tolerate each other, because InuYasha is the whole reason I got into the show. He's an awesome guy, I just want to fall asleep next to Kouga! ;-) I am currently involved in writing a very long, epic 'real-life' based story with Kouga & Kagome because I couldn’t find one, so I thought I'd write the story that I wanted to read. Expect it to be very different then most stories you read regarding this pairing. (Wind & Snow) I *LOVE* anything sifi-other-wordly and I enjoy disappearing into my little world's from time to time when I'm not metalsmithing or making jewelry. Next to writing fanfiction, nothing feels so good in my hands like a Fritiz textured hammer or a blazing torch! ;-) I also really love getting a chance to read the works of some really amazing and talented writers on this site! *You have tickled my imagination, held me in suspense, made me burst out laughing, dropped me in tears, and on those special occasions, got my heart and my blood racing! heehee* Just wanted to throw a THANK YOU out there to you all that take the time to write, and post your stories. Your imaginations make every day a little more bearable. *THANK YOU* for all your hard work and creativity! We keep each other motivated and inspired :) Some InuYasha FYI's DID YOU KNOW? “InuYasha” fans, that the characters original Japanese names are spelled slightly different (and in some cases pronounced) a little differently than their English counterparts? This has to do with the differences in the Japanese alphabet/language and how they pronounce certain letters, causing confusion during translation when they recorded the show with English audio (The Japanese language is very complex with more than one writing system - Kanji, Katakana, Hiragana, Phonetic, and Kana, so yeah, it's understandable). The most noticeable difference in names and spelling has to be Kirara's (I see lot's of 'Kilala's' out there). This is because in Japanese the letter "L" is pronounced with an 'r' sound, and the letter "R" is pronounced with an 'l' sound. Confused?? So we're the translators! ;-) But if you watch the original Japanese version, it's very clear her name is Kirara :) Another interesting one is InuYasha's sword, Tessaiga, incorrectly spelled Tetsusaiga, even in the english subs. Here is the best description describing what happened there: This is a mistranslation: there's a small "tsu", which means there should be a double consonant there (てっさいがい - te-s-sa-i-ga). So instead of Tessaiga, they mistranslated to Tetsusaiga, as if the "tsu" (っ) were not a small one. As a person who grew up reading the manga and watching the Japanese sub, I try to use the original Japanese versions in my writing as often as I can since that's what I'm used too, but I'm fine with either, cause I honestly don't care, lol. But some people seem to get really upset about it when they see spelling they're not used too or familiar with, so hopefully, this well help me avoid receiving anymore *cough*cough* unintelligible messages ;-) Oh and my apologies to anyone reading my Vamp Diary fic, I'm afraid I will most likely not be finishing due to personal reasons. sorry! *I always love receiving positive encouraging comments and knowing what you liked about my stories (who doesn't), but I do also welcome constructive comments and critiques as it helps me to improve but *please be aware that I will not tolerate any trolling, flaming or attacks* most especially because you are angry about something that is happening in my story. If something in the story has bothered you and you wish to express yourself, by all means do so, but please keep it, oh what are the words I'm looking for... clean and polite? That's all I ask :) Thank you all so much!! o.O.o o.O.o This is a ~*~special message~*~ to all the TROLLS and FLAMERS that for their own selfish, unfulfilled lives enjoy tearing down others, going into stories with pairings you don’t like just to be jerks, and those of you that simply have nothing better to do in your own lives than to try and make others as miserable as you are. I have only this to say to you…. -- "You may shoot me with your words, You may cut me with your eyes, You may kill me with your hatefulness, but still like the air I'll rise." -- Maya Angelou -- "Little minds are tamed and subdued by misfortune; but great minds rise above them."
