Oh my God! Update! I need more! I absolutely love Kouga and Kagome! I have always thought that Kagone deserved Kouga over Inuyasha.

The way he sees the modern world seems so genuine. An asphalt road does look like a frozen, dirty river, and someone coming from an era with no technologies suddenly being surrounded by automobiles and bright lights, they'd probably assume they were monsters or demons.

Kouga is much more... Controlled than Inuyasha, he's suffering from incredible culture shock, but still remaining outwardly calm, blending in. I can't imagine what it would be like to be propelled 500 years into the future (it would probably be like a Mad Max movie...). Or 500 years into the past, for that matter, but Souta seems to be doing remarkably well.

I wonder what the Wolf Yokai tribe would think if they knew there was a human child nearby bound with two wolf demons working to save human villagers. Since they age differently, Ginta, Hakkaku and Kouga are probably there, maybe as cubs...

I've always been of the opinion that the past of one's own reality cannot be changed, you can alter events in the past, but it would lead to a future in an alternate reality, not the future you came from. I mean, that future would still exist, but in an alternate timeline. You would have created a new reality, adding another string to the tapestry of the multiverse, leaving the original intact. Of course, this isn't my story, and having the trio return to an almost-but-not-exactly-the-same Kouga and Kagome, never able to return to their original universe, would really be unpleasant. Plus, magic and evil, sentient crystals may affect reality far differently than physics would be able to explain.

Confession: I know very little of physics or theoretical physics. It's just what I think the logical result of time travel would be.

Whatever the case, things are not looking good.

It's sad that even though Ginta and Hakkaku fought Inuyasha and helped the village they still want to blame them simply for being Yokai. And their obvious distaste for Kikyo, (and lingering prejudice towards humans they don't know) isn't helping. Prejudice runs both ways.

Souta just can't keep his trap shut about the future and time travel. He's a good kid, brave and loyal, but too naive and open for such a treacherous world.
