| Picwick chapter 1 . 10/18/2019 The BBC series is umatchable because of both Colin and Jennifer. Both were outstanding. His brooding made one feel for him. Her laughter made one fall for her! Ehen he smiled our hearts melted..and when she cried we wept with her. The miniseries is a masterpiece in every way - production, direction, music and costumes and the ensemble cast was brilliant! |

| theladypantera chapter 1 . 12/26/2017 Miss Bennet & Mr. Darcy, are one of my all time favorite pairings, i love the book (read it so many times it fell to pieces!) love the movies, but Colin Firth forever, lol. I just wanted to say how INCREDIBLE this bit of dialogue was, i could absolutely see this as his thoughts, you portrayed Mr. Darcy so well! my only bit to add is to say i think the ending should have had a bit more to it as opposed to Mr. Darcy still being unsure of Elizabeth's feelings because the look they shared (after the wickman comment was made) was quite powerful at this point, and you could feel a new kind of understanding had sparked between them (as in the Colin Firth version) and I would have loved to see you interpret that reaction a bit more. But that's me just wanting more of you, because this is just so damn good! :) well done! From now on (and i'm being dead serious here) every time i watch the Colin Firth movie I'm going to pause at that scene, read this and then keep watching, so please never take this down! :) thanks for sharing! |
