I usually don’t beg for another chapter but I would love to see this story completed...I loved your interaction between Thorin and his brother and this was always my favourite hobbit time travel so even if it’s just a very rough outline of what you wanted to happen or if it’s 50 more chapters I would love to know...even if it’s been 2 years again haha thank you for an incredible story and sorry for bothering you x

I love this story so much and I’m now realizing I haven’t been commenting on chapter’s which I regret now because I’ve had so much to say and rave about but at least I can say now how much a adore this story! It’s so funny and heartwarming! I don’t think I’ve laughed this much from a Hobbit fan fiction since the prank war chapters from (I’ve forgotten the name of the story but it’s about Bilbo raising a dwobit named Mithril and a elfling named Mineral and they gather all the laddies in their lives and have a epic prank war against the males and its the most hilarious war I’ve read and I’m so happy to have found the same laugher and joy from this wonderful story!) Anyways I’m very happy to have stumbled apon your story!

I have LOVED every single WORD of this fic! This is exactly the kind of fic I have been looking for! I love how DIFFERENT this is - there are a few of these time travel fics floating about, but all of them are grim and determined, with Bilbo/Billa being so changed from their original self as to be an almost entirely new character - but this one is just so wonderfully CHEERFUL and HOPEFUL! It's put a smile on my face the entire way through! It's just PERFECT! Oh my goodness!
- I ADORE Billa! Bilbo has always been clever and good with words, and you have managed to develop that wonderfully WHILE ADDING fighting ability and ruthlessness in a really believable way! (A lot of fics swap them with each other, but I just love how BALLANCED your Billa is. She's fantastic.)
- Thorin actually warming up and relaxing in a realistic and measured way (and he's ADORABLE by the end XD)
- DWALIN. Just, everything you did with Dwalin. I especially loved the image of him blushing when he was enlightened to the meaning of the Hankerchiefs, and the way he kept them afterwards! And the dancing lessons were just genius!
- Nori's fist pumping and victory dancing in the shadows! It made me laugh every time!
- I LOVE THAT FRERIN IS ALIVE!
- Dis is wonderful!
- Your expansion of Dwarven culture, especially with the offal and holding things in both hands was SUPER cool.
This entire fic is just written beautifully. The characterisations are just fantastic and the plot is wonderful. I love that it's easy to see a possible future where they retake Erebor and defeat Smaug with ease, but just as easy to see a possible future where the Dwarves decide it's not worth it, move to the Shire, and Billa and Thorin end up being joint Thain/King ruling over everyone.
I honestly have to say that this is one of my very very favourite fics I have ever read, and certainly one of my favourite Hobbit fics. I couldn't put this down. It has capivated my mind, lightened my heart, and made me smile all the way through. Thank you so very very much for writing and sharing this. I love it.
